I worked at a meat works, in the packing area so what I saw was the meat in the form of what you buy at the butchers. I went to the kill floor-they actually have a 'viewing deck' so you can watch the whole process-and what I saw didn't gross me out but made me sad. I looked over at the holding pen and they were about to start veal so I ran away. A lot of people I worked with were good people though the kill floor blokes were a bit rough. Most couldn't afford not to work there as the pay is good
only very slightly, and this is 100% because the majority/a lot are upper class/females/look after their bodies, and these groups statistically have higher life expectancies
I approve of 95% of all this documentary is saying. But i cant see how it hurts to fish a couple of whales now and then. or normal fishing. It gives ALOT of food for just 1 kill, and it was not THAT inhumane either. I would much rather be killed at an animal age of 10-20 after living in the wild, than spending my whole life in captivity! so the way i see it, harvesting from nature with moderation is the best way

@RACHELisAslapper Unfortunately, in America, the majority of people who work at slaughterhouses, at least in the jobs that require of them the highest level of torture and abuse, are oftentimes migrant workers. Therefore, they hold these jobs because they must, not because they take sincere pleasure in their work. And as soon as its too much for them, and they quit, another person desperate for any income will take their place. It's tragic.

I worked at a meat works, in the packing area so what I saw was the meat in the form of what you buy at the butchers. I went to the kill floor-they actually have a 'viewing deck' so you can watch the whole process-and what I saw didn't gross me out but made me sad. I looked over at the holding pen and they were about to start veal so I ran away. A lot of people I worked with were good people though the kill floor blokes were a bit rough. Most couldn't afford not to work there as the pay is good

I approve of 95% of all this documentary is saying. But i cant see how it hurts to fish a couple of whales now and then. or normal fishing. It gives ALOT of food for just 1 kill, and it was not THAT inhumane either. I would much rather be killed at an animal age of 10-20 after living in the wild, than spending my whole life in captivity! so the way i see it, harvesting from nature with moderation is the best way

I'm not an animal lover and I love meat, but that is just wrong. It is us humans who produce cows and pigs. If we didn't eat them, we would just stop producing them in the same amount as now.
