@longnosekid No, I love Make Believe. It's just that hipsters love to get their panties in a bunch because after Pinkerton Weezer became somewhat popular, so now they trash anything non-90's even though its just as good as Blue and Pinkerton.

Related to the song: I love Rivers' meditative sorta rock on Make Believe; Perfect Situation, Peace, Hold Me, Pardon Me, etc, all really fantastic stuff! Calm and personal, but at the same time good tunes with awesome guitar. Love it!

five years ago, when i was 12, i bought this album and loved every bit of it. it definitely is up there as weezer's best work. a lot of people hated it when it came out, but i never did. this was the album that got me listening to real music instead of mainstream crap on the radio. i say long live make believe and i hope they do a make believe tour one day bc i'd definitely go see it!!

Anyone who believes this album is Weezer's worst obviously has never listened to Maladroit. And, to everyone who says that Pinkerton and The Blue Album are Weezer's best works need to stop "single-hugging", because Blue was okay for three songs. (No complaining to Pinkerton, except that Across the Sea bullshit). Make Believe, Red, and Raditude have some of Weezer's most melodic, catchy, and fascinating tracks they have done.
