Decent dude.. Save yourself the trouble of tuning everything down for drop C.

Simply drop D on the first string. (If you're gonna play the intro, you can play the higher octave instead. I think that's the lowest note in the whole song.)

*The tabs would be the same, just move 2 frets up.

a tab is like this E---0-0-0-0-0-0-1 saying you strum the guitars thickest string 6 times with nothing on the fret board then 1 time on the 1st fret what you were saying E3 B7 and such is either a chord arpeggio or scale

getting a guitar and starting lessons tommorow i wish to end up as good as you you have talent but let me ask you something how long does it take to learn the basics and notes of guitar so if i can see the notes i can play them

because i played trombone a few years ago wasn't that fun but i have a feeling guitar will really hit me

I would say it takes anywhere from 6-12 months to get all the basics down and get good at them.

there isnt really anything difficult about this song when it comes to technical skill. not saying his playing sux, but still, basing someone's ability of of something like this is like basing a violinist's ability of of how well they can play 'lightly row' by suzuki.

although being to technically inclined is bad as well. like steve vai. fast player, but not emotion. what you should aspire for is between the two.

Drop C is a dropped tuning, meaning you tune your guitar down.

You can't reach drop C with a capo because a capo takes the tone up, not down.

Epiphone isn't a 'knockoff'...it's the lower quality (but very good guitars, better than most) version of the Gibson, Eppy is made by Gibson, just the lower end models of it, for the beginning (and pro) guitarists that can't spend a fortune on a guitar.
