Can someone please help me with the new screen class? It ISN'T just a black screen... it just shows a white screen then my images flash for just a second, then it shuts down the program... Anyone?

I'd think all the ads on thenewboston yeild $, but what about the Google ads that pop up during every video? Are they for Bucky too, or is that Google getting those $? Google is sweet, so I'll prolly click 'em anyway :D

These are all great tutorials but they closely resemble those to the Developing Games in Java book by David Brackeen.

My mistake if I missed a reference somewhere.

Just a comment : what if I use the program on my Mac or under Linux ? I will not be able to load you pics (face1.png and face2.png) because I don't have a C: drive on my mac. A better way do do that is to use relative paths. This can be done that way if you store your pics in a folder named images located in your class files :

new ImageIcon(this.getClass().getR­esource("images/face1.png")).g­etImage();

Sorry if you use this method later in your tutorials, thanks for sharing!

getResource() already returns an Image object so you don't need to create an ImageIcon object and re-return an Image object :P

you should always start with a high resolution such as 1024 by 720 so the high end computers dont have crappy graphics

This is awesome! I think all this code is standard stuff that you end up copying every time you make something new but you need to understand what's going on in case you need to tweak it. Quite a lot of finicky things to learn though...
