"In that moment, two careers were changed forever. The patriots organization would never be the same." That quote always gives me the chills because it is so true.
That Week 5 win over San Diego was very pivotal. They scored 10 unanswered in the last 3:31 to tie the game, and then they won the game because a 37-yard pass interference penalty set them up in range for Vinatieri.
If they lose that one, they are 1-4, and who knows if they have the same season. They really weren't that dominant that year. They barely beat the Jets and lowly Bills, and the game that the Rams beat them in Foxboro wasn't as close as the score indicated.
i will never forget when bledsoe got hurt..screaming at the T.V with my dad and tossing the remote and yelling about our season being over...little did we know..
The piece where Joe Andruzzi is coming out of the tunnel is entitled: "Arlington Fanfare" by Graham de Wilde. It is a piece that has NOT been released to the public. This is what I have been told directly from someone at NFL Films.
@humgunbow .... Bledsoe was great, so that took some marbles... those decisions 'make or break' a coach..... a position that you get hired to get fired (espeicially now) ......... NFL from this fan's point of view, is live for the moment, trust your instincts,........ I am a Chiefs fan by the way.... but this season made me a secondary Pats fan ever since
the only thing more unbelievable than that would be if he led them to 10 more wins in their next 12 games and then won a superbowl or something, or made the probowl WITH MANNING that year........
oh thats right......... HE DID!!!!! lol, unfreakinbelievable....... who wouldve thought going into that colts game that 10 years later the only quarterback of this decade you could put in an "alltime great" conversation would be Peyton manning and tom brady?

The only thing that could make Brady's story more badass is if he was an undrafted free agent.

All props to Lawyer Milloy for speaking highly of Belichick and the Pats after they cut him.

Time and Time again the Jets get f'd by the Pats. First Bill leaves them for NE and then the Jets in fact are the ones who start Brady's career.

2:09 - what an incredible shot, Bledsoe turning his back and walking away as Brady's turning towards the field and jogging out. spine tingling.

The nod for Brady over Bledsoe after his recovery might've been the the single greatest decision Belichick ever made.

how fitting for brady's first start for him to go against the colts? just freakin perfect, in retrospect..... absolutely perfect.
manning and the colts, the contenders, all the hype.....
when bledsoe got hurt everey fan thought our season was over, that now we had NO CHANCE IN HELL to make the playoffs that year....
and for brady to take over an 0-2 team that went 5-11 the year prior, and beat the colts that day?!?!?!
