@blackoptimus1 He only has one leg, it wasnt a total leg amputation just below the knee. He uses an artificial leg, and in a lot of scenes you can see him hobble (he has a funny walk), but over the years I think the actor and directors have forgot a few times and it looked normal. But you will never see him run, sprint or move fast, and if he does you'll def see the limp.

The reason paul walks like he hasn't lost a leg is because affer the years of wearing a prosthetic limb you learn to cope with it. I knew someone who had lost a leg and he can run.
