if they had spent time working on a good script and plot for the movie, instead of being lazy and making a film that even the most dedicated fans couldn't pretend they liked, their may have been a season 3. But with a film like that no one in their right mind would renew it. its a shame to because I think it was a great series with allot of potential.

Honestly I never figured they would give the show another season as much as I hated to think that because I love Dead Like Me. Because, yeah, let's face it. I have seen worse....but it mostly sucked in comparison to the series.

@FranksWarJournal i liked the movie, but really only the parts with george and reggie. the rest of it didn't fit with the tone of the show. and "daisy" wasn't even close to the way that she was in the show. i think if they fixed a few things like having her at least act like the laura and having desmond (yes i'm calling him that lol), be more of a believable head reaper.

2. They're grim reapers, you'll see when you watch the show.

3. He's not sort of dead, he IS dead. All of them are dead. They live like normal humans (eat, sleep, have jobs, etc) but they are dead. They can feel pain and lose limbs, etc..but they heal very quickly. That's why they didn't react, he'll be fine. But he sure felt it. ;P

That may just be a rumor, I'm not sure, but really, I'm kind of glad they ended it before it got to where everyone was tired of it. It actually had high ratings but was canceled for Kristy Alley "fat actress" . Her show had low ratings and was canceled mid season. So Dead Like Me was canceled for no damn reason.
