@RonnySayfan I do not remember the technical term of this technique but Aikido do have this technique but to make the uke fall(takedowns). It would not continue to a ground fight though. It might be identical because Aikido originally derived fr traditional Jiu jitsu.
@RonnySayfan comes from Judo Goshin jutsu. Maeda was a judoka. He taught the G's and others who never set foot in a G dojo, e.g. Franka, etc. From jiujutsu.

I have to say this is identical to Gracie jiu-jitsu basic head-lock escape.
I have never before seen an Aikidoka get to a mount position inorder to escape a technique.
Very good though, it is a functional escape.
