"Time to be hung". Was that graveyard ever used for hangings? (Washington Square Park in NYC was a potter's field at one time & they used to hang criminals there as well to make burying more convenient) so I was wondering if that graveyard may have been used for hangings at one time, as well.

Hey Fran, great EVP work, some really spooky ones too. EVPs can be so funny, some come through so well it is apparent what they are saying, while others you have to guess.

I heard that digital recorder is the best for EVP, but is there anything special required for this.. I mean the microphone features etc.. Must it record 4 HZ voices?

But I will tell you that we use a mixture of both digital and analog recorders.We prefer analog because the tape is magnetic and therefore it's exposed to the same conditions as the surrounding area.But sometimes it comes down to personal preferences as opposed to one kind doing a better job than the other.Try both at the same time and see which one you like best.-Fran
4 Hz? watch out what you here. Human voice is 80 to 1100 Hz and most EVP's I've caught are 500 to over 2000 Hz. In my opinion Tape "Analog" gives more results, but can be harder to Analyze. Digital can give strong results but very few EVP's come through and the white noise is a pain to Analyze. We use both including our MiniDV camcorder which is Digital input to an exposed magnetic Tape.
Oh I see.. Well I have one tape recorder.. Panasonic RN-302. I guess I can record with that? And also how this analyzing works? Do I need a special program for it? I have Audacity, but I'm not sure if I can analyze with it.
You can record with any recorder. Audacity seems to be the most popular do to the fact it's fee. I use multiple programs because I'm a sound engineer and I study the different aspects of the phenomenon. Don't forget to protect your self when doing EVP work.

Sorry to bore you tjfoxtrot. We put up our vids not just for the sake of entertainment, but moreso to present evidence. Most cases and investigations sometimes include many hours of "boring", so coming up with even a smidge of evidence to put up and out there can be very difficult. I thought this one sounded like "it's time to be hung", but what you said it could be is not out of the realm of reason either because it sounds like a young person saying it. Why subscribe to some video on youtube. You cannot believe everything you see, or hear for that matter.
The small minority of us understand this, and we need to follow science and hope that it leads us to the truth.
Saying "There is something beyond there and everywhere..", well that doesn't really tell us anything does it?
Is it a ghost? Is it a portal to another dimension? Or is it intereference from a broad cast station.
Maybe it's just fake. Sadly, we'll never know from this video.
