i swear when i finally beat this game and became the Don of NYC, i thought it was never gonna happen since my first playthrough i bought every single thing, but for some reason it said there was 1 racket i didn't own and i could never find it, after a year had passed i had to beat it all over again and saw this cut scene i almost cried LOL, plus it felt as if this was the true ending to the series

I got all the possible places except for one hotel. To get it I had to get rid of some thugs upstairs, after killing them and talking to the manager again he said "You can have the place if you take care of those thugs upstairs." I nearly shit myself with rage. I spent 2 hours loading and doing the quest in all different ways possible but I still never got to be Don of NYC. D=

@badmanshyam24 Speak english, first of all. Second of all, take over every damn thing in the city. Thirdly, its possible that you skipped missions you can't go back to; for example, if you do the mission where you whack Sal Tessio BEFORE you do all of his hit missions, you can never get 100%.

The game doesn't explain every little thing. You have to do a little thinking.

@GrandeWang84 That's what I hate about a lot of games. You finish the game, and you can't start over with the equipment that you have. I can live with doing the missions over, but the experience and the weapons must be kept. RE 4 and 5, Zelda 2, and Super Mario World are the prime examples of good replay value.

I only have one problem with the game. When you become the Don of the Corleone Family, you then have to take over every business and take out the other crime family to become the Don of New York, but why does the Don have to be the one who does that. If I created this game I would let the player create another character or characters and let them help the Don(your original character) become the Don of New York. Then the ending of the game you would have the feeling that it's your crime family.

this game was cool but they screwed up on a couple of things. like the part where you create how you want Dominic to look. on GF1 you could make aldo old if you want...they had much more face features....they should have kept it they way....then the biggest screw up was you have to wear a vest...i don't know why they would put the gamers vest outside his clothing....i would rather see how i am dress than look at a damn vest....maybe thats just me thou...lol

Your right, just so every one knows, to control Little Italy you need to extort the Racket Boss in the Tatalia Warehouse near the Corleone compound. Forgive me but I can't remember the name. It is NOT the China Warehouse near a Barzini hotel. I prefer the "respectful" approach(non pressured). Be sure you have a lot of respect (maybe 17) and $30,000(so you get paid $15,000). That should work.
