Hello Peter! (It's Cindy, the troublemaker from Canada) I love the video - it's nice to see what goes into making a an opal so beautiful... and it's nice to see who has made the opal pendant that I'm wearing right now! Truly a work of art... made by a genuinely GOOD person. I'm so happy to have had the pleasure to deal with you! Can't wait to get the next package!!

Thank you! I was just introduced to Opal and bought a beautiful Diamond Ridge Black. After sifting through thousands of stones, I'm hooked! Thanks again! Post more.
Well this was a treat to watch a fellow cutter, been cutting opals myself for 13 years now and we have a lapidary business here in the states.
Thanks for the invite into your shop I enjoyed the visit very much, it was interesting to see how different methods from my own are used for cutting the same gemstone we both love to work with.
I bought an expensive grinder and so far I'm not doing too well...would buy rubs as oppossed to rough, but my guess is I wouldn't learn much. Perhaps a hands on workshop would help more than the how to books I read.Hopefully there might be one in the states howeverI would like to learn from a Master, like yourself. Thanks so much for this video,it helped me realize I was holding the dop stick while grinding in the wrong fashion.Any advise on grinding lambina?
Thank you so much for this, I hope there are more where it came from! It is jst what I needed to see for a quick questin about opals, very helpful. Thanks again!
