we petition the obama administration to:
calls upon the People's Republic of China to put an end to its repression in Tibet as demonstrated by the ongoing unrest
I am writing this letter to draw your kind attention to the tense situation in Tibet due to the Chinese authorities’ increased restriction in the wake of a series of self-immolation by Tibetans in Ngaba Tibetan region...
@lynds12341 Yeah me too I am meditating to find out why that is. It seems very deep rooted. So far I think it is because of what I heard about it's significance in Mahakala. It envokes wrathfulness so perhaps this is why....?
she grabbed my arm and assured me it would be ok. then she reached inside of me pulling out this ugly black stringy stuff and then pulled more black smoke from the middle of my forehead. then she just looked at me and smiled. and i was done :)
@kleineschutter no gods technically but there are bodhisattas such as amitabha, avalokiteshvara and more. they are idolized by laypeople in the much the same way as i understand.
so he came running towards me and i got scared for some reason and ran but then it turned into some kind of game because we in a maze, but not like a garden maze, it was these huge sandy walls. i remember how it felt when my feet were running across the sand floor. by now the music was calmer and i found krishna, who now looks like a really beautiful woman dressed in thousands of colorful light wraps of clothing. when the music started to get intense, i was scared and wanted to run but she...
wow i loved this! it took me a minute to get into my meditation, but soon i was in this place that for some reason reminded me of a palace. there were people carrying a big elephant like they would have carried princesses back in the day. and the elephant held this thing that was making that loud horn sound. and people were walking by him and around him chanting and then there was krishna in the form of a small boy who was ...ummm blue? then he came running (out of room lol next comment)
ok, i found this video and decided to listen to it whilst wearing my headphones and had my volume up full blast,i have to admit the music scared me,especially the horn! but i felt like it did something to me,lke it relieved me of something in my heart?? i probably sound crazy to you but has anyone else experienced this or could any of you 'enlighten' me? I'm new to buddhism,i'm exploring it further to see if i agree with it. thankyou for reading :) x
Ia the horn supposed to warn off evil spirits ? I think i've seen a documentary about this blow horn , and how it's used in certain tribal rituals to warn off evil spirits.
Like a lot of people who've commented, I find this a little scary...but I've added it to my favorites list and seem to want to listen to it at least a couple of times a week. I've found I also get a little scared listening to people chanting the Heart Sutra or Bodhisattva Vows...I wonder what it is that does it to me. In time I imagine I'll learn to relax with it...I'm curious though...does anyone have any background info on this music?
Listening to this psychedelic music makes me certain that hallucinogenic plants played absolutely no role in the development of ancient religion whatsoever. No No. Ignore the tranced out rhythms. No correlation I tell ya.
This low-tone horn does sound a little menacing. We're probably just not used to such sounds in the western culture. But it grows on me the more I listen to it. It's very powerful... tickles the back of my brain and cuts off all the thinking. Thank you for posting!
It is wonderful to hear this as it always reminds me of my first real exposure to Buddhism a year and a half ago. Great memories and ever since Buddhism has a special and important place in my heart.

I apologised about further my comment of 'ow. ly/74dQe';
In fact, the signature of the other organizations or other site course are exceeding 25000 people in all gathered.
The representation of TYC (Tibet Youth Congress) in the U.S. already submitted the signature to the U.S. Government and the Congress.
Also it was able to begin the argument in the U.S. Congress.
Thank you so much and best regards,

sometimes there's no deep meaning to the way traditional music sounds.
it's just due to the limitations of the instruments :P
