  • Question: Is this a 60's era JMP-50, or the late 70s model that shares its bloodline with the JCM 800?

  • @penguindredg 76 jmp's and onwards up to jcm's where only heads with the black on off switchs like this.

  • What a nice tone. Some people on youtube need to learn that you can achieve great tones without using nauseatingly ultra-high gain pedals.

  • @ToothyGus all gain pedals suck compared to this.

  • Can enyone tell me the exact dimension od this amp? Thanks... :)

  • This rig sounds freaking amazing.... I've been trying to find this tone for a long time. What kind of guitar are you using with this amp? By the way, your chords sound pretty amazing too... which ones are you playing?

  • @chriman17 I think I was using a Les Paul Vintage Mahogany.

  • Did you use any OD/effects other than the govnor?

  • what's the volume and master volume settings?

  • It was quite low, at bedroom volume. I don't remember what my settings were.

  • @gibsonguitarplayer ok thanks. sounds too awesome for me to pass up on buying one

  • I love this tone to death! I'm a fellow JMP 2204 owner and this is undoubtedly one of Marshall's best amplifiers. I can produce surprisingly beautiful and warm clean tone through the low input and can go all the way to brainmelting AC/DC crunch when choosing the high input. Great work, brother. Hope you're gonna keep this jewel. Rock on!

  • low loud is this in this clip?

  • TV levels.

  • That is THE tone... You're a lucky man!

  • Sounds good for a GNR tone...

  • My cheap little Cannon digital pic camera on the movie mode!

  • Great tone! Sounds like good classic rock. What cam/mic are you using?
