If you have a high end PC, you could turn "Next Generation Content" on via "Options" -> "Display". Then the graphics will magnificently change, with hi-res bump mapping texture, dynamic lights and shadows. So that's why such a short game like TRL has more than 7GB of files. They're mostly dedicated to the state-of-art graphics.

how do you do that with next gen?in TR legend

i have all rewards and all time trials completed, but stll no next gen...please comment me as soon as possible!

The next-gen effects are only available on Xbox 360's and PC's whose graphic cards support shader model 3.0 and pixel shader 3.0 rendering methodologies. If your graphic card is lower-end than ATI Radeon x1000 or Nvidia Geforce 6300 GS, you can't get it opened; the next-gen option appears to be gray, indicating that your PC isn't powerful enough.

Due to the harsh hardware requirements, PS2 and other old-gen consoles are not capable of handling next-gen (high-dynamic lighting).

Lol. :D Btw, I sensed that there should be some shortcuts here so I re-installed the game today, after getting it uninstalled for quite a long time... XD Well I'm just looking for shortcuts purely for fun now, not intending to do speedruns atm. :P

Well... =/ there will be tons once I get a new computer (in November), you know. :P I really want to do a full run for Underworld. :D There might also be some new runs for Anniversary too, and of course, less-glitchy ones. :)
