  • how does the ifs like all that weight, i am considering this conversion on my 2000 3/4 ton but just rebuilt the ifs stuff and would like to keep it

  • id love to do this to the same body but single cab single wheel gmc.

  • If your the guy im thinkin of your on SWCR

  • Kind of an interesting project you have here. Do you still have it? :)

  • What modifications do you have done on that beast?

  • just wondering about your swap... did you use the 2nd gen intercooler and rad? also it looked like you had flush marker lights?

  • It runs fine with no plate. I did the 5k gsk because when i shift it falls into my main power band for the next gear and it eliminates lot of turbo lag. I dont shift at 5,000 though. Plus the 5k fuels all the way through 4k where as the 4k kit does not.

  • our town wants to ban a desile vechiles card trucks semis ect

  • Your town is a fucking retarded community.

  • tell ur town they are retarded. Gas cars polute more than diesel.

  • @cber8860 why? your town sucks ass

  • No i still have the IFS in there but when i can i plan on a dana 60 with leafs. When i do i think im gonna run 35s or 22.5s with a 10 lug conversion.

  • i got an old ford idi with a dana 70 rear end and a dana 44 but thats the old ford ifs. i just wanna sell the truck, the rear end is rebuilt. lol

  • how does it drive with no plate? im running a #0 and mine likes to jerk a lot...also why the 5k governor?

  • I can't really tell but I thought I might have seen a leaf spring, did you do a solid axle swap to clear the oil pan? Thanks, good looking rig too.

  • Since this dyno i put on a new p-pump i built with 191 delivery valves, 5k gov spring kit, no plate, and timing at 18*. Injectors were +60 and now they are 5x.17 rated at +250, Turbo was ball bearing gt3788(63.5mm) and now is a BB gt4094(68mm), ats 3 pc manifold. Not sure how much power now but its definately alot more than here. And the stacks are 7" bullhaulers

  • This truck originally had a 6.5l diesel with a gm nv4500. Now it has a 96 12valve and the heavier duty dodge nv4500. Yes i did the conversion myself. I ate up the single disk clutch and put in a southbend 3600# dual disk w/ 12 ceramic buttons on each side of the disks.

  • very nicely done conversion, I like the stacks alot. Are they Bullhaulers or just turnouts?

  • Nice vid by the way

  • i didnt know that they put cummins in gm products you may want to learn your engines

  • Hahahahahah....are you kidding me

  • you are obviously a new comer to the truck scene so let me inform you on a little sumthin, its a conversion!!!!!!! if you knew somethin about chevy you would automatically know that

  • Man don't be such a twat all your life.

  • Did you do this conversion yourself?

  • dodge nv4500 w/ valair ceramic clutch

  • what transmission are you using?
