  • Genius! Heartwarming, hysterical, and just plain happy! Marvelous work!

  • I am making a puppet version of a christmas carol! You will enjoy it

  • Great work!

  • @chadddada Thanks!

  • Fantastic work! You all hit the nail on the head for finding the right balance between child storytelling and adult appeal - Bravo! If it's alright with you, I'd love to feature this on my blog!

  • @MockingbirdPuppets Please do! We are open to all the attention we can get and encourage everyone to share the show. Tomorrow we hope to post download links on the official page - I'll be sure to let you know when that happens. And if you have any questions for your blog don't hesitate to ask.

  • I love this so much! Well done, team :)

  • @EmilySchooley Thank you, Emily! Happy holidays.

  • @ruffusthedog merry Christmas and by the way you are from jim henson

  • @MrMorton96 We have all worked with Jim Henson's Muppets from time to time but this was not a Henson production and the characters are our own. It's nice to be compared with them. Thanks.

  • Well played, my friends! Kudos for all. Of course, I expected nothing less. Jerry N

  • @skogs34 Jerry - that means SO much coming from you. Thank you, sir. :)

  • Amazing! A new Christmas classic! My favorite part was what was going on inside the robe of Christmas Yet To Come!

  • @ScottAlbertGopherX Nothing says Christmas like a stack of sheep!

  • The puppeteering was exceptional, the voice acting great, the CG alright, but I did find some of the dialogue to fall flat. Good to see a new group of puppeteer's other than Jim Henson's group. (Not that they're bad, Love me some Muppets xD) Keep up the good work, I'll be following along.

  • @Explojin Thank you! Glad you liked it.

  • good stuff :)

  • @DextersRuffLife Thanks!

  • Loved it! So did my little niece! Nice work indeed.

  • @beecharmerproduction I'm so glad! Thank you for that. :)

  • Good stuff! It was funny, had a great message, good effects, and I loved seeing the Flying Spaghetti Monster. My only gripe, and it is a small one, a line in one of the songs says it never snows in Africa, but that is not true on the high mountain peaks. Other than that nit pick, it was a great video, and I appreciate it's low budget and CC license!

  • @mistercliff2002 Glad you enjoyed it! Yes - that one line does stand out - but we trust our composer JP Houston's skillful use of metaphor and imagery. Technically, not true - but metaphorically it speaks volumes about how we treat the world we live in. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comments! Happy holidays.

  • On my opinion, this is a hundred times better than the 2009 motion-capture film! No scary scenes that give children nightmares, no hideous CGI (the CGI in this special look good), and (best of all) no 3D! Just good ol' puppets (or should I say Muppets) meant to perform in front of the camera!

  • @hankforeman91 Thank you, Hank!

  • @ruffusthedog You're welcome, Ruffus!

  • Ah-mazing!

  • @TheElizemorgan I thank you!

  • YEAHHH!!!

  • @MagentaKristen Hee hee hee!

  • wow guys... looks like pulling some of those keys must've been a nightmare (furry+green+hair=screammmmm!!) ! All the same, things were integrated well! Good work!

  • @selvagem Thanks! Yep, we had some challenges from time to time - mostly because we shot it very quickly with very little time to make adjustments to lighting as we went along. 4 days of shooting in Robbo Mills' living room, and often shooting various characters separately and then combining them into group shots in post. Difficult but fun and worth the time.

  • @ruffusthedog Ah such is the nature of this business. I think most people who have engaged this type of work can empathize with the kind of time and effort that goes into a project like this. Congrats again!

  • worth the wait

  • @cyberdragonessmaster Thank you!

  • I can't read what is says on the tombstone under "Ebenezer Scrooge".

    Can anyone decipher it?

  • @LooneyTunerIan It's a texture photo of an actual old tombstone from around 1890. The name was replaced with Ebenezer Scrooge and the dates were blurred because our tale takes place in the 1840's. I'd have to dig into the files to find out who's stone this actually belongs to.

  • enjoyed it even without the kids! thanks.

  • @facilitatorfilms1 That's awesome, thanks!

  • I saw many versions of "a Christmas Carol" but that version is Awesome

  • @Superben21 Thank you Superben. :)

  • This is lovely! Would love to know who is doing the various voices.

  • @jwitchbaby All the puppeteers did the voices for their own characters with the exception of the Ghost Of Christmas Past, who was voiced by Alyson Court - better known as Loonette The Clown from The Big Comfy Couch.

  • this dog rocks! unbelievable work - thanks for this, we need more of this kind of show!

  • @44monarch Thanks for your kind remarks. Glad you enjoyed it. Happy holidays!

  • Gotta love any kids video with the flying spaghetti monster in it!

Very cool video, great for kids and adults alike.

  • @ArghMonkey I'm so glad you liked it. We're big fans of the FSM.

  • Great fun ! Loved the flying spaghetti monster reference :)

Can we get a download of the song "Merry Merry" ? It's really good and I'd love to add it to my roster of holiday tunes.

  • @suchick13 I posted a link to our Bandcamp site up in the description - where you can find all the songs from our shows - and a direct link to "Merry Merry". Enjoy.

  • @ruffusthedog Got it ! Mucho thanks, and have a Merry Merry yerself !

  • That was a great movie. Even though it was 36 minutes. :)

Maybe next year, you can do 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, as a bonus X-mas Story for this movie.

  • @LooneyTunerIan Oooh! I like that idea! Thanks!

  • @ruffusthedog You're welcome, Ruffus. :) Can't wait to see more episodes of your showed on books.

I can't wait see what stories you'll do next. These one are problably interesting: Moby Dick, Treasure Island, The Time Machine, Puss 'n' Boots (hope you don't have any agressions towards cats), Rumpelstiltskin, Sleeping Beauty, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, The Boy Who Cried Wolf and The Nutcracker Prince.

  • @LooneyTunerIan So many stories - so little time. :)
