very poor way of fitting the chain. its ok if its too tight my arse. you should have at least ten mill of play after chain is fitted. And dont wind a new chain over the sprocket like that. that will do more harm than good.total cowboy.

Whose says without a chain breaker you couldn't break a chain?! Just use a ''+'' sign screwdriver, hammer and a unwanted nut. And put your chain pin according to the nut hole. And hammer the pin out CAREFULLY using the ''+'' sign screwdriver to prevent the pin from getting out of the chain clip. When putting it back, just put it opposite and hammer it in.

@muzglimy Buy a half link chain. I hate half links but that's the only way to do it. If you want you can do what I did and put in one half link but I snapped it on the half link within 2 weeks so I just pulled my wheel back and put a full chain back on.

i break every chain without a chain breaker just set your chain in a vise were the pins are sticking out and beat it with a hammer and then use a chisel piece to beat it the rest of the way out

u DONT wana have ur chain as tight as possible.. why?. because it will wear out ur sproket allot quicker and it will put ur driver on ur hub under to much pressure which will cause ur hub bearings to brake easy. and haveing ur chain to tight can cause ur chain to snap easy. trust me all of what i said has happend to me.. and always keep ur chain greaced! it will do favors for ur driver and sproket

@AlluBMX You need a Chain tool (10 bucks) and you basically do the same thing with installing a chain.

So basically use the tool in between one part of the chain, then tighten the tool till the small thing comes off the chain, then its out!

yeah this is a little too tight. its very obvious. chains do stretch after a decent amount of miles on the nike, but not like 2-3 links like this guy overdid. Don't take the risk and do it like this, you get really hurt. If you don't believe me just go to any bike shop and compare the chains to this.
