  • My wife and I were trying to put this back on for 20 minutes before we found this... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • Thank you very much! I thought it was gonna beat me there for a minute!

  • Did indeed save 30 mins. ;-) Thanks very much.

  • Thank you for taking the time to post this. So easy, yet so hard!

  • I was totally losing it when I finally looked this up. You are a lifesaver. Can't believe such a simple design totally eluded me. Thanks!

  • Thank you sir! My Abbie has a WORKING e-collar now.

  • @hlorange10 Good idea elevating the food and water!

  • Great video. Only two things to add:

    1. Make sure it's long enough to go past the dog's nose

    2. The second loosest setting is not always the correct size

  • @jazzlynp Thanks for the feedback!

  • Thank you so for this super helpful video. My do has to wear a hard collar and I took it off for our walk. I had no idea how to put the thing back into a cone. It kept coming off so I decided to look for help and I found your video. THANK YOU!!! It was perfect and the idea of using the collar instead of the thin gauze string was fantastic.

  • @jlevic1 I'm so glad it was helpful. I never liked the gauze string either -- too easy to come untied!

  • DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • @casewindu808 Dude, you're so welcome! :)

  • You said this might be silly? It was a brilliant idea to implement the dog collar to the E-collar. Everyone else suggests using gauze or string. Glad I found your video because it's the one that makes the most sense. Thank you for sharing :)

  • @BoxingChaos13 You're very welcome. I'm glad it was helpful.

  • thanks for this! :D i was so frustrated over the e collar...-.-

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! Would have never figured it out! The vet gave me the v-collar unassembled. I thought I would end up wearing it myself -- that is how crazy this process drove me!

Because the color was unassembled... I had no idea what the flaps around the neck were for (the original dog collar!). Thanks again for a most helpful video!

  • I join everyone here in thanking you! cheers!

  • Thanks :/))

  • God bless me!! I'm sweating like a baboon now!! I wrestled with my dog for the past 20mins in order to put that collar around him. now, I'm tired!! I can't bear to take it off later seeing how diff it is to put it on. help!!!!

  • Thanks puppy managed to get his bottom jaw through and we had to take off to get it back out. In the panic I din't notice how it actually went on! You just saved us a trip to the vets. :-)

    smiles, Lori

  • Lori, I'm glad it helped you!

  • I couldn't figure how to fasten the confounded thing, but thanks to your demo we now have Chester with his e-collar fitted properly and he seems content. Thanks for taking the trouble to post the video. Season's greetings.

  • I'm really glad it was helpful. Season's greetings to you.

  • Oh! Thank you, thank you!

  • You're very welcome. I never expected people would find and watch this video!

  • thank you!!!!

  • You're most welcome!

  • I need to put one on my girl who just got spayed and couldn't figure how to put it on - didn't know you use the dogs collar (not instructions from the vet!). I'm going to go try it now! Thanks!

  • RottLuv,

I discovered that pre-placing the dog collar made the process of latching the collar infinitely easier. I hope this turns out to be helpful!

  • Yes, it was much easier putting on and off with the collar pre-placed! Now I just need to get out the paint to touch up my walls where she ran into them with the side of the e-collar - LOL!

  • Diane,

You're welcome. I'm really glad you found it useful.

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I've got a pup recovering from some wounds and she was about to pull the area open! I could not figure out how to put them on! You were a life saver!! Thanks a ton!

    Diane

  • YES!!!! my cat just came back from the vet, and I needed to know how to put it back on.
