I'm stuck between either a 30 watt orange or budda combo. I use a rockerverb and 4x12 orange cab for my gigs and it suits me just well, however I have been liking a lot of the budda stuff I've been hearing. I know the Budda combo is a little more expensive than the Orange. I would be using the combo for at home playing and recording. Any suggestions mate?
Hi, Rob! Just wondering, if you've ever played an Orange Thunder 30, and if you have, how it compares to the Super Drive 18 combo, when it comes to hard rock/metal tones?
Hey Rob, do you remember which parts of this vid was made on 18?
I am interested in SD 18, today i was playing it, and i wasn't able to get such nice modern tone out of it with this massive bass response which you've got (as in example in4:14). I wonder if it's a poor cables fault, pretty sh*& randall 2x12 which i was playing, or just my inability caused by long period of tiny terror using - only single tone control:)
Can this amp do progmetal with boost (BB preamp)? not super heavy,DT or sth
Clearly a great amp!I checked out the budda website but couldn't find any sound bites.Seriously thinking about getting one of these amps and it would be cool if i could hear it without all the background noise!!
Ok so you wanna give me a thumbs down with no comment? Your either still a nazi or your one of the AZZ's that run around the NAMM show or ANY show and tell people turn turn down! Either way whatever!
It looks like a Peavey HP, which is basically a Peavey Wolfgang with a double cutaway. I think that Telecaster looking guitar is a Peavey too. I heard that Peavey owns Budda so I guess it makes sense that he's playing Peavey guitars.
rob i fully and undeniably respect your skill originality and humbleness and THAT is the reason why i subscribe to you...congrats about marshall and greetings from the U.S.A

Look mum! God I hate these shows, only ever went to one and it is full of guys like this shredding on their stands to wannabe guitar heroes, the sad thing is they all sound the same as each other and all take themselves ever so seriously - those who can do - those who can't - teach. Sorry but this is what is destroying originality in music and turning guitar playing into a sport rather than an expression of creativity
I teach, but I also do... I have a band, I gig, session, clinic, and review. To survive as a guitarist in these times you need your fingers in as many pies as possible... Something you clearly wouldn't know about.
More power to you, actually I do know about it having done the same thing myself. I'd be more impressed if you had your own voice and could disassociate from your ego enough to laugh about the absurdity of it all, lighten up dude!!
Normally I'd agree with what that guys saying... but man he couldn't have picked a worse person to demonstrate unoriginality lol! If he picked some other shredder I would have probably said "Mate, I absolutely agree"... but not the chappers! :O
don't do pissing contests OR clinic myself little man, I live off my royalties from songwriting and touring. Just reading back some of the comments and messages from your fans/anoraks just reinforces my original statement.....The sound comes from your hands - not from the gear that gets sold to you by salesmen masquerading as musicians - all helping to homogenise music - Still it must be validating to have a following who hang on your every word and lick. personally I prefer to get laid.
Dude does not converse like a professional at all. Though he doesn't have the feel of a complete nobody. He has the feel of a slightly more versed nobody with an agenda of some kind. Perhaps he even knows you? Kind of creepy to think of it from that angle. I think most guys put in that corner would have come clean with some material by now. Then he wouldn't need to keep posting anonymous comments on youtube.
Diggin' the Chappers. He's got the magic hands, (totally not gay).
hey anyone that uses that many large words in a youtube comment doesn't get you laid.
maybe you should appreciate the work rob does for his fans hes giving millions a chance to become someone; and if thats "gay" then your the homo. like you say you live off your royalties well who the fuck are you some dude who thinks hes the coolest shit ever while you dont even know shit.
instead of using big words why dont you do something with your life or go fuck yourself
U who posts himself shirtless on webcam making noises on his guitar and sending homophobic accusations because in his tiny little mind he cannot think of anything else to say is pretty laughable don't you think? ReeceLiam Allsop? I've been ignoring most of the poison email for daring to question the monkey lord's motives but this one takes the biscuit as a lame-assed vacuous attack from an homophobic northern twat. The HP was modeled after the guitar EVH designed when he was signed to Peavey, when he left he went too Music-man and designed the Axis. Or he started at Music-Man and went to peavey, I don't remember for sure, but hes affiliated with fender and now has EVH Guitars (which is a subsidy of Fender).
I played a budda superdrive 18 at a store using a suhr S4. Thats a match made in heaven. Rob - you should check out some Suhr guits - would be right down your alley.
