  • That kid is a smart kid. He is asking questions, but not only that, he's asking the right questions clearly. He's going to be a hell of a pilot.

  • Is that the Bayport Aerodrome on Long Island?

  • What airport is that?

  • there is a question that captain jakey asks and that is the same question i have,

why do you fly a cub from the back seat ?

  • @metallicamustaine You can fly it from the front seat, but if you are flying solo you have to sit in the back so the weight is distributed correctly. I guess you just get used to flying it from the rear seat afterwards with passengers, and the passenger has ha good view too.

  • How much dose one cost I'm 16 and once I get a job I'll save as much money as I can to get one

  • @pushpop88 I have the same plan, I´m also 16 :)

  • Nice tie

  • I take flight lessons in one of these. For $58 and hour in this classic... I love it. It handles amazing.

  • I have quite a few hours in that plane. I started flying in it.

the most beautiful flying airplane i've ever seen. Closest to REAL flying i'd ever done, besides being in a glider.

  • the little guy's pretty smart with his aircraft i think he'll be a good pilot one day!

  • Was Heidi's Fun personality developed off Captain Jakey?

  • did they also test out heidi?

  • That child had a valid question! Why do you actually fly in the back seat?

  • brings the center of gravity to the right spot on the main wing.

  • yea i agree... why do u

  • For center of gravity, if you sit in forward past the wing plus the engine weight, that's gonna be a heavy forward weight

  • Just got the A2A Piper Cub with AccuSim for FSX. Very impressive modeling -- handling feels a lot more realistic than any other FS aircraft I've flown. A night-and-day difference over the default FS Cub.

  • i have it too, but why is it that wen i try to turn left or right, the plane turns real slowly...no matter how much i trun the stick left/right, the plane just slumbers.

  • Check your control mappings and sensitivities. (Also, even though the Cub doesn't have autopilot, you could have it turned on from another aircraft, and this could be causing problems.) The Cub should be nice and responsive -- but not hypersensitive like the Extra 300.

  • use rudder

  • ya i already tried that, it works...usually widout rudder works just fine,,but not here

  • Cubs don't have lights or flaps, the ones you thought are flaps are ailerons to make the cup roll right or left

  • hell no!

  • carcharodonshark > And this is why you don't fly in reality.

  • Wonderful vid! I am an aviation Noob--so I ask does the Cub have flaps? I saw some small ones I think?

  • A2A J3 looks great. Enjoyed the video, but what is the song playing in the background at the very end of the video?

  • great video

how much money for flight hour

  • it would be an honor to be able to fly in one of those beauties

  • i agree, i'd love to fly that too..... wonder why someone thumbs downed your comment

  • Would love to see some classic high performance sport planes like the Pitts Special, the Chipmunk, the Stearman... those would be the real deal.

  • Nothing better than a J3. We own 2 of them.

  • @WakeUpDummies me too

  • @WakeUpDummies you right

  • @kuminauhapilotti Right on Dude :)

  • wonderful video!

  • He landed well but was crazy! The turn looked like he already hit the ground. Very well done!

  • i am very impressed at A2A....the step up from wings of power...which were good airplanes.....is amazing...the ability to make such a realistic airplane, and the efforts you go to to do that is insane....keep up the good work

  • Of course we enjoy the video, every single minute of it....keep up the great work producing fabolus planes for FSX!!!!!

  • can't wait!

  • Great video! Can't wait for this one!

  • Sweet video! And props to you guys for answering all the kids questions. Stalls give me the chills but the kid says "Whee!" Love it!

Is it just the video or do the props look curved at times when at speed?

  • damn i wish i could land that smoothly on fsx good vid 5/5

  • I do agree that this is a very good choice for A2A Simulations to do and a very broad appealing aircraft.

    Simple yet fun.

  • gotta love those short base approaches, what a fun aircraft.. kinda like flying a paper airplane :P i'm an audio engineer so it's cool to see you recording the aircraft sounds!

  • Guys keep up the great work. Ready and waiting to buy the product.

  • Thanks guys! I'm going to have another fight with my wife to explain why I'm going to buy yet another plane from A2A....LOL. Hey, great stuff! Keep it up!
