@IllPropaganda just got back had to catch post , selling some 360 games :) yeah I still got 2 pairs of turntables belt and direct drives but I never use em.shame really cos I got loads of oldskool vynil ... but u just couldnt acheive these mashups with vynil lol especially when it comes to live looping and cuts and drops .. I guess by mixing live I am saying that the song is live or almost and not arranged in advance like track building where lets be honest its hard to go wrong

Wouldn't go that far though, I mean, yes you have a BPM and KEY in mind already, which just saves some time. Really, anyone who thinks mashing with software is just importing a gang of mp3s and...boom...done, is sadly mistaken. Especially when working with analogue sources.

@IllPropaganda yeah u need skillz to lay down a mashup with software but the edge aint the same to me,when mixing if it goes wrong its screwed.That gives me a rush and as a tricky part comes up and I nail it I buzz .I dont get that when on software.mixing of a usb mixer with software would give u that buzz though.I think thats just like any other form of mixing,its all the same just different tools , its frootyloops and them style that dont excite me.

Nothing beats playing live to a crowd, the bigger the better, all those people rocking out to some shit your pulling on your equipment, my best times are, of course, playing a live gig! So i do know what you mean! But my live sets, usually many hours, do not suit themselves to YT really, so I hyper condense them!
