Nice formation stuff guys- We had a strikemaster, a t-5 and a t-4 and a t-52(hot rod t-4 from Venezuela) plus a gnat in miami, fla. So sad no one can much afford to operate one nowadays. Like you said, great happy days, mates. We still have the t-4, sitting to it's death.
The display aircraft were 2 x BAC Strikemasters G-UNNY owned and flown by Tom Moloney and G-BXFP owned and flown by me. My aircraft was fitted with a smoke system with the diesel oil stored in two purpose made underwing tanks. We undertook 2 displays at Shoreham on 5th and 6th sept 1998. Thanks for posting the footage it brings back some happy memories.
Hello Bob, just saw our dynamic duo display... can you believe that was 12 years ago! Got myself back into a Strikemaster last year and did 3 displays. It was good but not as much fun a pair flying! Cheers, Tom
Nice rejoin, too.
