Ever since I saw the warrior able to effectively use a rifle, I'm starting to question actually using the thief as a dual dagger / dual pistol combo main. First the thief needs initiative meaning you can mess up your rotation completely and need to wait to fix it, also you need to be very careful to not get overrun and die. It seems warriors never have these problems... I hope thieves get some awesome initiative regain moves that aren't on a huge Cooldown and are easy on the energy bar.

he didn't heal like he was suppose to, hence he died within a minute of his first battle.

kiting and dodging is not new especially in guild wars 1. you kite and dodge to miss projectiles, spears, arrows and so forth. In fps, you move and dodge bullets? if you're stationary, you're dead meat, correct?

It's not new mechanics, just improved and better than other mmo games.

@dorkside777...we can analyze the GAMEPLAY without his nagging.

it doesn't seem to be a case of the controls needing tewaking over the need to unlock a few more skills or even be in a safer/better area

@sonicsoul0 Nah, it's coming from GW. GW really does a lot of the movement for the player. I was having to get used to traditional MMO controls again. Aside from that, as a Thief, the game really does demand a LOT of movement and positional awareness, because you have the lowest health of all the classes (thus far at least). I spoke with the dev who did the LIVE demo, and he said basically as a Thief, you NEVER EVER stand in one place. Constantly moving, setting the battle at your pace.

@TheDorkSide777 interesting, you might also find that the theif class will be a lot more playable in the next PAX or w/e since it's few skills now aren't that great!

Oh wow fuckin god, they change the Thief skills alot hmm currently nice nice. Never, seen needle trap before n rest but when goes GW2 wiki thief skills some got blocked hehe but nice. Ty for the upload bro..!!
