The whole promotion of the Roy Malone remix confused me for years. The girl in the remix video did interviews in the UK discussing the lyrics and lip-syncing performances on TV. Who the hell was she? I remember when Gaelle first appeared on Naked Music and the press release name-dropped this song and I was could never understand how they were the same person. I guess Gaelle didn't want to appear in a promo video with that awful remix! Funny how this shit happens.

@SuperYoNelson Gaelle is actually the original vocalist on "King of My Castle, although when I asked her about it she kind of brushed it off and said that Wamdue produced it and I could get it off of Itunes. Nonetheless this version is without a doubt the best!

So this is in fact the first and original version of this tune ever? I had a hard time figuring which version this was from my cafe del mar album. Also, it's credited on iTunes in the Nicola Fasano and Steve Forest Mixes EP, but I guess one could never trust iTunes 100 %

Its sad that it took those horrible remixes to mkae thus track so well known, it was one of those undiscovered gems, and only a raw few knew about it and loved it. But i think thats just the way it goes, the track was successful, just for the wrong version..this original has all the soul and warmth.
