  • Silly Cylons. Don't they know that having their buses accelerate intra-atmospherically radically increases the delta-v budget requirements, and that targeting what appears to be 50+ warheads on a single metropolitan area simultaneously essentially ensures massive losses due to fratricide?

  • And then nothingness.

  • not Vancouver

  • @oakhurst666 where is it, then?

  • @stormofIoyalty it was meant as no not vancouver don't destroy it

  • They blatantly copied this from SGA.

  • Gotta love seeing your home town get nuked

  • 8 cylon models like this video.

  • TACTICAL NUKE INBOUND!!! ITS OVER

  • By definition, these cannot be similar to MIRV. Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles, which means they, by definition, have to be launched from a planet, exit the atmosphere, and reenter for attack.

  • the verry best pice of cgi in bsg history

  • WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS SEPTEMBER 12th?

  • @theknightswhosayfrak Grow up and learn the FEAR of nuclear arms.

  • @LiamRiordan What's to fear? It's not like they're magic. It's science, therefore predictable and understandable through rational means.

  • @Halo4Lyf Fear of something that can murder millions and potentially poison billions in a blink of an eye. When you see many of them raining down. If you don't fear that... well, you're crazy.

  • @LiamRiordan Debates about my sanity aside, I don't fear nuclear weapons because I understand them. Knowledge goes a long way towards driving out fear. I know how to survive a nuclear detonation because of my CBRN defense training, both in the short and long term.

The thing that will surprise people most about a nuclear event is that they survived it!

  • @Halo4Lyf While surviing a habitat scorched by nuclear attacks is one thing, would you survive the mental strain? The psycological battle of maintaining your humanity? Or more importantly, your hope.

As my instructor told me, "it doesn't matter how much you train or prepare someone for the worst situations imaginable, its only when it happens do we found out if you're ready for it."

Its like trying to train a fireman without the fire, no matter amount of tactics can prepare him for the fire.

  • @theknightswhosayfrak there wouldn't have been enough pultonem in the earth to mount an attack this epic

  • @MrChrispocalypse Plutonium is a synthetic element manufactured as a byproduct of nuclear fission using uranium. It wouldn't matter anyway, because the US has more than enough warheads to depopulate the Islamic world in response to 9/11.

  • Does anyone notice that each of these MIRVs has about thirteen nukes in it, and there are like 15 of them at 0:16?

  • "One order of Molotov Cocktails Coming Up!!" lol that annotation cracked my up soooo much.

  • how is that music called? i cant find the name anywhere :(

  • @ymatheys It's "Apocalypse" (tracks 6 and 7) from "The Plan / Razor" soundtrack CD.

  • Battlestar Galactica: Or How I learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb!

  • Cylon fire-power at its finest.

  • oh, hey look it's BC Place at 0:26

  • @stormofloyaIty holy crap that IS an aerial shot of downtown vancouver, isn't it. You can even see Canada Place and Stanley Park!

  • @davethecritter Yep.... by the time they did The Plan, they were pretty much out of development money for CGI and stuff. You'll also notice that at 0:13 to 0:15, the landmass they're shooting towards is Europe, stretched, mirrored and rotated 180 degrees.
