Probably not... American Airlines arena sits on what was the start/finish line and pit complex.

Not true, Start/Finish was on Biscayne Blvd. in front of Bayfront Park. It can still be done, but the promoter took the races to Homestead Miami Speedway.

That was the new circuit used in 2002 and 2003... This circuit is at Bicentennial park, just north of Bayfront Park.

They can easily do it again on the circuit they used in 2002/2003. So back to my original question... Will they ever bring it back??? :)

Since IndyCar/IRL already races at Homestead, I would think not. But if Int'l Speedway Corp (read: NASCAR, who owns Homestead) ever kicks them out, they might need another venue in the Miami area. They'd somehow have to design the circuit not to cut off the port of Miami, which limits options in the Bicentennial/Bayfront Park areas.

It's a very rare race to find on video! :D The Miami Street Race came back to ChampCar in the 2000's.
