this song is called "a loophole in limbo", and for all the dip shit fucks go get your moms/dads/lil sisters dildo, fuck yourself then go and watch your fall out boy videos
Selling out and getting the recognition you deserve are very different things. These guys are too talented to be stuck in the underground for all of their careers.
This sellout bullshit is so stupid. There are lots of bands that do what they wanna do, without looking at record sales. But almost everybody wants to make money with music, because that means you can concentrate on your art without needing a day job.
Guys, if they go mainstream with this song or musical chairs that would be the best thing possible right now. That means that more people and bands will be influenced by Fair to Midland... FtM is by far my favorite band and their is nothing better than more people listening and enjoying them so that more bands will be similar to them!
they arent going mainstream with this OR musical chairs. if u listen to stuff off of Fables, it's not like it sounds any different. it's still fair to midland and goddamn we love 'em, right?
Oh that's weird cause i def think it's different than fables, much harder. When i first heard it it actually reminded me of old FTM which is perfectly fine with me! :)
I would say Fables was overproduced. Whereas Inter.Funda.Stifle was artistcally one of the best albums ever made. It really captured the art in their sound. I hope in the next record they bring kind of there live vibe into it.
I love IFS too, but that album is just as overproduced as Fables. The difference is that Fables was more streamlined vocals and 70s style prog whereas IFS was more artsy and trippy in the vocals. I think the work is about even since pretty much the new songs almost matched up but the guitar sounded better, more diverse
lol no. Darroh is constantly pouring water on himself throughout the whole show. He has like a 24 pack of water onstage and he maybe drinks like one bottle lol the rest he pours on himself ^_^
Haha, I was a little worried. Have you ever seen Pablo Francisco live? When I saw him he was DRENCHED! and at the end of the show he threw his hat to the audience and you could see how much sweat there was in that thing, and I was way up at the back.
nate i agree. I dont think everyone would love FTM as much as we do just by hearing them on the radio...as we know they are certainly a band you HAVE to see live to get the real genuine feel of their music. It would be awesome, just because they are my favorite band but i doubt everyone would feel the same just by hearing a single. I know they need to pay the bills..but idk. maybe i'm just being selfish by not really caring if they go mainstream or not.. lol i feel bad now lol
It would be a good thing for them financially if they did but I totally agree with you. I mean, if they do go mainstream, they're going to start playing bigger venues. Which means it'll be harder to form a connection between the band and the fans. The smaller venues allow you to be able to be right there and get to know the band. I know from experience, there's nothing like Darroh, Cliff, and Jon being right in your face.

i know its hard to imagine but alot of bands that
exsisted in the 60's and 70's were better than fair to midland

true art will forever be in the underground
ignorant talentless songs of drugs sex and broken hearts will forever be stuck in the minds of the ignorant
Daltonn0810 2 years ago
You suck at life.
True "art" isn't a matter of above or below ground, it's a matter of the ARTIST.
TRUE ART something drawn from inspiration, feelings, thoughts and things of that nature.
You're just another kid who thinks that good music is that from bands that are unknown. Fuck your logic.

and fair to midlands unique, i don't know about you, but i don't want bands to be similar to ftm

I just hope they dont get back into carbo ccopy style shit
I like the whole album but Fables was much more mature
I wouldnt mind a little more screaming but keep the same proggy epic-ness and production style that made fables the freatest album fucking EVER
