Beautiful song. Beautiful voice. After hearing this song on channel 4 a few years back I rushed out to buy the album. Best move i ever made. This song in particular has helped me through so many rough points in my life. Possibly even better live. What a voice.

Yeah the pickup across the bridge looks to be an LR Baggs M1 Active pickup.

The Takamine has a built in Preamp aswell, probably something along the lines of a Cooltube which sound pretty awesome, hope that helps :-D

As "starinthehoodmuzz", I too would be happy if I ever wrote a song like this. It goes straight to my "wonderful memories with new friends" - box. When this song was played to me, I was positively surprised that though Scott sounds very much like Nick Drake (maybe it's the cello), he still has his own strong style and in his songs he takes turns in harmonies that (luckily) distance him from Drake's influence.

This song means a lot to me. I cannot wait to hear this live in a few months! Sorry people I just had to rub that in! How is he not more famous? Seriously? Real talent goes unnoticed these days, while kids that are trained from the age of three to sing but have no song writing ability and can't play an instrument jump straight to the top of the charts!
