  • the cobb ap..its easy to use? i have a speed 3 and idk much about tuning or installing..i just drive it hard lol. but the cobb ap lets you adjust boost? or should I just finish my bolt-ons and take it to a tuning shop?

  • the AP is prolly the easiest mod ever! really, you just plug it in and go. i recomend you look at what you currently have and what map is available for your set up, before you buy.

  • your runnin almost the same as me, on the map im runnin, and so will you, boost will hit 20psi. i never run from 1st or 2nd, but you easily spin the tires with too much throttle!

  • wait y do u need a plug n play system for the front mount. is that recomended? i was going to get the cpe front mount because its direct bolt on without ny cutting and i was going to get the accesport but i dono anybody around va that can tune mazdas. i also have a pretty tite budget cuz im 16. n oyea do u get pulled over for ur exhaust alot i think the greddy looks tite bt it looks like it would stick out to the cops

  • No, you dont need a pnp, however it will greatly help prevent detonation. With a FMIC the car's ems will not recognize the increase in boost, or the turbo lag which occurs, therefore retarding the timing. The FMIC will not be maximized. The access port has a pre-set for a FMIC, no tuning needed, im runing a dual port bov. The cops dont pull me over for the exhaust, and im turboback. If money is an issue, dont touch your car, its fast enough to smoke most cars on the road stock!

  • i mean i was planning on getting the same set up as u i got the same front lip and the liscence plate harness so i can get a front mount. and i juss ordered the acesport but did u install the front mount urself and how is it running with the accesport. is the cocksport dp the best one to match up with the greddy

  • the fmic was installed by a pro. runs great with the access port. the dp fits perfect with the greddy ti-c, though any dp that fits the stock exhaust will be fine.

  • can u still hear the bov even though its only recirculating

  • The dp retains the second cat, so its street leagal. Worth it? Well only if you want to beat evo's and sti's...

  • n right now i only have an injen cold air and the turbosmart dual port. but i also heard its not good to run it with vent to atmosphere with the cobb accesport

  • No problems, both are factory compatable, as long as you have the same stuff I have. anything else, i dont know.

    i have a silver ms3 with some basic bolts. nothing crazy like your ms3. you should definitely go for some rims and suspension work.

  • I havent heard of any meets, do you know of any? As for the rims, I just recieved my OZ Ultraleggras 18-8 +43 in gold. There going to look sick. Suspension will come next year!

  • No, just plug and play.

  • yes, unfortunately it does void the warranty.  However, all the mods done are safe for the car, with the cobb access port regulating things. I wouldnt recomend anything other than a cbe, and intake without a tune. If something does happen, ill just rebiuld the engine with forged internals, can you say 500hp!

  • I didnt say I had 500 hp. I said if the engine blows, ill re-build the engine with forged internals, allowing for a bigger turbo, more boost and larger hp. please read before calling me out!

  • The rear engine mount is on the way. Im also thinking about the su side mounts as well, but heard they wail, let me know if you have any feed back. thanks

  • Going with a performance rear engine mount make the engine not have as much movement when accelerating. In return, better performance, less wheel hop and a more powerful feeling car. Not to mention much safer than a flimsy one. I got one and I recommend highly. Also mine does vibrate bad, with a/c on its very noticable..but you can have the stiffness for performance and softness for the cadillac feel together. i dont mind vibration

  • Yeah I wouldn't go with the side mounts. My speed 6 only has the rear and it fixes the shift bangs. Im sure adding more mounts would help even more but I dont think its worth having your car vibrate like a washing machine.
