I used to use a ledger-system of this, the money was always in the bank, but I kept track of how much I really had each week by allocating the weekly income to "accounts" in that ledger. Before long, I had so much money to play with, I was carrying around 1-2,000 dollars in my wallet all the time, and all my bills were paid and then some!
Then along came my accountant and threw it out, because her Quickbooks software didn't know what to do with it! I never made as much money after that!
Very good tutorial! Putting the leftover to the savings account is very encouraging method!
