  • My friend works under cover in a circus with am animal cruelty association

  • Im going to work at a circus and when no ones looking im going to set all the animals in my huge trucks and take them to their normal habitats. CIRCUSES ARE CRUEL!

  • Furthermore, I know what an abused animal looks like, and those plump, well-groomed cats at the circus are cared for. And why wouldn't they be? At $75,000 each, there's about a million dollars worth of highly trained cat out there, representing a significant investment. No business destroys their investments. Elephants are no exception.

  • I'll give them this though, that's the first time I've seen PETA scum with their clothes on.

I respect an individual's right to peacefully protest but these PETA people are way too intrusive over what really is a non-issue. They should be kept off of the property and not allowed to walk up and flash trash in front of your child's face. They may have a right to free speech but you have a right to take your child to an event without risking mentally traumatizing them and exposing them to this.

  • How can PETA preach ethics when their methods are unethical in themselves? Anyone who knows anything, knows that psychological abuse/trauma is just as bad, if not worse, than physical abuse. Yet PETA will try to show your youngest children horrendous images & videos, taken sometime during the 60's in Uzbekistan, while screaming and hollering very indiscreet sentiments.

What makes them believe that harming thousands of children is worth saving a few elephants from the rigors of training?

  • lock up my cousin shanda sawyer ... she should have to eat elephant shit only for the rest of her life along with my mom ... I am a botched abortion ...life is a miracle

  • i think zoos are boring i took a trip to visit one when i was a kid but seriously it was soo boring i don't even remember any of it if it wasn't for the photos i could swear i've never been in one lol.. going to the wild like the guys from national geographic do now THATS cool see if any of those people that abuse animals in zoos would have balls to do that! but it's not all bad there's national parks where animals are treated good like the national parks where animals in extinction are :)

  • @kamikaz330 if it wasn't for those people hunters would go there and kill those animals..

  • Thank you for sharing the abuse of exotics in the circus. :(

  • poor animals :(((( i hate those circusses!!

  • This video is sad to watch to me to see that they get beatin just for TRICKS that you se for only like 10 minutes and once the show is over its back to ABUSE for the animals!! it curel!!!!

  • @ledotrixe Yes. Ringling sure makes a lot of money for those 10-minutes, but it's the animals who pay with their lives.

  • @SacredElephants Sigh such great wonders of the world are killed and abused how do people enjoy abusing animals?

  • Dont visit these outfits ban them, animals shouldn't be living like this .The RSPCA should stop them but this outfit is as weak as piss. There is not such a thing as a good circus for a wild animal its cruel Humans who treat animals as prisoners are cruel hyprocites.

  • @foppo100 Agreed. The circus companies can't police themselves and regulatory inspectors aren't able to keep up with it. I think there should be a flat out ban.

  • today i went to the circus : Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and i see a man telling a woman "this is a real picture!" woman: "no its not" and then i see that there is a TV showing a animal being shot at cause it ran away and was scared . i think circuses should be ILLEGAL !!! thumbs up if you think so too.

  • @TheSwagga243 When I went to protest a Ringling Bros Circus, I was surprised how many people refuse to believe that the elephants are indeed abused--even when shown compelling evidence. Makes me think they just don't want to feel guilty for the pleasure they've taken in it. Yes, it's painful to realize you've been a participant in something awful, but facing that and joining the cause (like you have) is truly admirable.

  • @SacredElephants Wow good on you for trying! Hey mind letting me know where and which circus you went to when you protested? How did you protest? I am interested because I myself have gone to the sites of circuses on my area to collect images and see how animals in Australian circuses are being treated...I want to protest but if it is just me I wont be getting much done.... :(

  • Like alot of people have said, this video is done very well shows both the good and the bad i like how you have put the photo of the lion up showing its face, showing its eyes, its like you can see through there eyes there suffering. Its very sad but there are 'good' circuses out there, just with humans.

  • @littlesercet Thank you!

  • this is a really great video! well done because you showed the good side of the circus too, not just the cruelty and people want to see both sides.

  • @DeborahSultana Thank you!

  • I couldn't watch the whole thing. Too painful. Why can't people just leave animals alone? Sick cruel selfish people. I think they should get the same treatment they do on the animals. Did you know they also electrocute the elephants?

  • @gingerisevil02 Yes, the subject is painful, though I did try share the positive solution in the 2nd half, which is to attend shows featuring talented human performers. Many humane circuses have popped up as cruelty-free alternatives.

And ugh, yes, I know they electrocute the elephants. It's so sick. Many people still don't believe the animals are abused, but there is a lot of actual backstage footage that shows the truth. I'm hoping we'll see the outlawing of animal circuses in the US.

  • Great work on behalf of the animals. Thanks for helping spread this awareness.

As Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

Obviously, we've got a long way to go...

  • @shalomormsby Thank you for sharing that powerful Gandhi quote.

  • Brava! That's absolutely beautiful and moving.

  • @nonymoos Thank you very much!
