As an overnight employee of target I have had to work during black friday in the day time during this particular day. It is hell on earth, people are relentless, and show no mercy its toys after toys, electronics after electronics, everything after everything, special request after special request. It's several days a year that I refuse to go to a mall are any department store. Black Friday is on the "Hell No!!" list.
I hate waiting in line for anything, can't stand stand large crowds, and hate bumping into people at the end of every isle.
In my opinion people that wait outside all night just to save $10 really need to see a shrink. They are bonkers!!

showed up around 7pm Thurs, no line. went to best buy, maybe 100-150 people. 8pm go back to target no one! go back to my friend at best buy, hang out there for lil bit. 8:30pm ok im there to stay!

You captured the crazy very well. I went to Target on Black Friday once with my sister. We didn't camp out but got there a while after the store opened and the place was still mobbed. My sister got a pretty good deal on a stereo. I didn't buy anything. :)

I work at Target in Milwaukee.I was lucky to have the evening shift when everyone was poor and tired,and we were out of everything anyway.I did go to my Target at 530 am to get a game chair for my son,and my management opened the narrower employee door to file the line in,and noticed the people trying to cut in,and made them go to the end of the line.haaaaa!

As an overnight employee of target I have had to work during black friday in the day time during this particular day. It is hell on earth, people are relentless, and show no mercy its toys after toys, electronics after electronics, everything after everything, special request after special request. I have worked this day twice in my 2 years at target and man let me tll you it is crazy!
