Nope, there is no requirement, although it is highly recommended. I don't think anyone minds so long as you tell the squad leader as soon as you join.
i can never get on. i double click it and then it says i was kicked for some reason or other i cant rememba!!! but anyways i thot it was because i have no mic. but do no any other reasons it would happen? the server is practically full everytime i try if that helps any
Ok, it will most likely something similar to 'you have been kicked for excessive team killing'. Don't worry, on Tactical Gamer we run a reserved slot system that means paying members can always join the server. We have 2 reserved slots, this means that the server is effectively full at 62/64. If you join at 62 it will immediately kick you. Unfortunately, due to the BF2 engine it is impossible to change the kick message. Just make sure to join at <62. Feel free to message me if you have problems

@jaketaylor15 BF2 is a fairly old game (2005) so I think you should be OK with that laptop. And yup I still play regularly on the tacticalgamer(dot)com server. Its full pretty much every night from 6GMT onwards.

Thats true...we did get quite spread out at the begining. We had been told there were RPG's along the line of buildings leading to that cache so we were driving fast.
The thing I hate about TG is that 10 year olds get to boss around a bunch of adults.

Project Reality is a free mod for the game Battlefield 2. BF2 costs about $15 and once you have it head over to realitymod(dot)com
It has all the information on how to download PR there. It is a great mod, I highly recommend it. Anymore questions feel free to PM me or reply. :)

Project Reality is a MOD for battlefield 2, so therefore it is free.
However you do need battlefield 2 to play it, so if you don't have BF2 it costs about $10 - $20 depending were you buy it.
