  • this is boring as fuck

  • Sorry but i think its stupid -.-

  • @VincMan2 What's stupid about it?

  • Sample road and 441(SR 7) in broward county florida

  • I don't understand. why do the lanes have to even go across each other... in the UK we have thing's called overpasses...

  • @elgoorf123 Uh, if capacity doesn't demand flyover ramps, they won't be constructed, no matter what area of the world one lives in.

  • @adrianroam95 North Korea would!

  • @elgoorf123 No room for an overpass if the area around has already been developed..

  • theres several of these in ohio and people wreck in them all the time

  • This is used in Edmonton, Canada as well, the intersection of 97th St & Yellowhead Trail comes to mind.

  • Palm Coast Fl has this interchange. S.R. 100 and I-95

  • I admire people who have the imagination to come up with systems like these.

  • HNTB created this animation. Please contact the company for more details.

  • What program you used for this animation?

  • this looks like a good way to get rear ended. I'll stick to teleporting till you guys get this car thing down pat.

  • i don't get it... so this is going to replace weld rd. the part where you want to go straight up the ramp to get onto 20?!

  • @djmindy Yes-several of the properties have already been acquired. I think the gas station, the tanning place, and the hair salon are also goners. They'll probably take Weld and bend it into the industrial park.

  • This is going to be cool to see when the do the construction in Elgin, IL

  • confusing o_0

  • I like a 6-ramp partial cloverleaf better. Even though it usually has two points instead of one, the arterial street makes no left turns, so there are only two cycles for each light. Only the cars on the off-ramp from the freeway make left turns. These don't have to happen at the same time as they do in a SPUI

  • Interesting, i assumed it is perfect for a freeway-big way interchange. But honestly it is not for an interchange of 2 freeways, right? Nice

  • @Zukhov1945

This kind of interchange is not intended for freeway-freeway traffic, as those intersections require total mobility for both roads. There are some variants to this model: either the turning movements get a separate level or all movements get separate levels (thus making a stacked interchange).
