We don't know if this was a seizure, but after seeing it, we were told to return to the EMU. An absence seizure was not seen during our week in the EMU after this video, but a lot of interictal activity was noted. I am not sure if you mean, how long has he had seizures or how long was this specific event. He has had seizures almost everyday of his life since he was 3-4 months old. This specific event lasted for 2-30 minutes.
WE have always had other seizure types. We started with Infantile Spasms, progressed to generalized refractory head drops, and now have moved to the absence seizures after the corpus callosotomy. We feared that this was an absence seizure.
