  • where did you get this mac cat back?

  • This actually sounds good! Im glad i chose mac mufflers for my thunderbird SC. It should sound nice, yours sounds kinda european. Got a complete MAC exhaust goin on my Mustang GT as well.

  • Does anybody know how these sound at high and low rpms?

  • hey is this the kit from cjponyparts i was looking to buy it and want to know if its good and sweet stang man

  • Yes, GT bumper on the car.

  • do you have to have the GT bumper for this exhaust?

    P.S. this is amazing

  • this is amazing... people spending over $1000 for long tube headers, o/r h and x pipes flowmaster 40s and and everything else and the best v6 sounding exhaust iver heard (ive hear 50 60 combinations cause im looking for exhaust for my car) comes from a $280 kit with free shipping...gatta love the sixers!!!!

  • Hell yeah man! It's a very robust and well put together kit that is super easy to install and uninstall. It's even easy to take apart and clean, as I've discovered.

  • def, sixer's save you money on just about everything

  • did u have any problems getting the gt bumper to fit? how much was it and where did you order it (the bumper). i'm going MAC as well. ;)

  • Nah dude, the GT bumper is a direct fit on just as teh stock bumper is. All the mount points are the exact same. My dad worked at a Ford dealer and his friend was putting an all Cobra kit on his car, so I got the GT bumper from that car, and got it painted. They're not that expensive, really. I'd say $150 maybe? The flanges for the exhaust are for a V6 bumper, so you have the bend them in order to bring them up into the bumper better.

  • @laserRedstang01 Good luck finding a replacement GT bumper with lettering cutout! Every replacement one ive seen doesnt come with it. You'll more than likely have to find a wrecked GT to take the bumper off of or trade like this guy did. Personally I like the decal.

  • Stock y-pipe? Wow. Sounds awesome. I was going to get the Mac o/r h-pipe. Now that I've seen this vid, I'm just going to get the cat-back system. Are you satisfied with it?

  • Very satisfied, yes. It's perfect so long as you aren't going for big power. I'll be switching to an x-pipe setup later on when I go forced induction.

  • I plan on going forced induction as soon as my 04 is paid off (don't want to blow it up and still have to pay for it). I guess I will swap the midpipe when I do that too. How much was the install? And, if you get a chance, I would like to see the rest of the car in another vid! Keep all these v6 haters with something to talk about.

  • Haha, yeah. Mine's paid for which is really nice. I'll probably be swapping my rear and and my tranny when I do my upgrade. Gonna do a T-56 swap. I can't wait. Install was free to me because my dad and I did it. He worked for Ford at the time. I'll get a nice new rolling video of it with my new rims and lowering springs soon!

  • Hey msn great sound, whats your setup? and any other mods?

  • No other mods on this car as of yet ;), just a MAC 2.5 Catback system from the stock y-pipe basically. Thanks for the compliment!

  • No Problem bro, you got any more clips?

I got an 01 3.8, tryin to see whats out their for exhaust before I buy

  • Sounds good man, this InNeedOfBoost from 3.8.

  • Haha, so you came here to comment as well huh? I just replied your Napoleon post... :D
