Nice bike !! sounds very similar to Indian made Royal Enfield UCE 350. Other day I saw a glasswool short bottle muffler which gave the bike much heavier thump.
@picador191 I put new pipes on the bike shortly after this. It now has British Customs Predators on it. It's way louder and sounds incredible!!!! Sometime I need to make another video of the bike with the Pedators.
The sound quality of the video doesn't do the bike justice. Sounds a bit like a Chinese fishing boat. As well as the Togas, you should also look at Staintunes. I think there are agents selling them in US.
Sweet bike, just wished the new ones sounded like the classic Bonnies,i find the new bikes have wayy too much wine to the engine sounds. Not just Triumph but most new bikes.
agreed what causes that? I'm looking at getting a classic bonneville in the future. is that something new exhaust would "cover up"? beautiful bike though.
Well, I am sort of leaning in that direction. I love the sound of the Togas, but I just wish I could get a sense of just how loud they are. I would like to have louder pipes, but I don't want them to be completely obnoxious. I think I could handle them being as loud as a stock 883 Sportster, but anything more, I don't know.
The "Muffalers" can be quite obnoxious at times, you might wish the "silencers"which are the same general shape just longer or maybe the same "muffalers" with some baffels installed in the tailpipe.
Well you might try one of the classic bike dealers ,.eg,Wileman Motors,i understand that you used to be able to get what they used to call a 'Mute" to put in the tail pipe of Triumph Muffalers to lower the sound.
If you don't need the shape of the original triumph barrels you might like the Norton Commando "pea shooters" taper tip type ,you can get them with both Norton or Triumph mounts and either in 1 3/8 inch or 1 1/2 inch size, louder than stock but not as loud as the Triumph Muffalers,
I'm actually looking into a couple options right now. British Customs makes the "Sleepers" and Norman Hyde makes the classic "Togas". They are both louder, but sound more authentic. i have watched a ton of different videos on YouTube, and just can't make up my mind!!!!
i use the TOGAS on my classic Triumphs, and as for loudness you could go for the silencers,"very quiet" or the muffalers,"much louder",i like a bike with some aural bark.
I work on Harleys and i ride a classic Triumph Bonniville, you know why,i like class and performance, not just potato, potato, potato.I'll bet you take a STOCK Harley and try catching a STOCK Bonniville and you will have a load of excuses as to why you couldn't catch the Triumph, but wait, that was the situation from the 60's till now any way.

Yes, I know. I used my digital camera to do this video. The sound and video quality isn't the greatest.

Yeah, I thought about those but I was worried that they wouldn't be much different from the stock pipes.

No problem. I probably shouldn't have been so defensive. I probably got up on the wrong side of the bed or something. Enjoy your bike too. :)

My pleasure.
I went out riding earlier today, but it was only around 40 degrees. WOW! It sure gets cold when that wind starts htting you!

What? No oil stains? Thats not a triumph. A real Triumph would leak oil.
