  • i don't like that they waited FOREVER to hand the baby to her mother

  • @TheDooface12

I had requested that the dr wait until the cord stopped pulsing before cutting it. That's why it took so long.

  • How long did she push the baby out?

  • Soooooooo Glad I am a guy

  • You did great, congratualations!

I don't know if I could have taken all that noise--clanking of medical equpiment, laughing, talking, TV. OMG

  • That was really good. You never screamed! I know that I would have screamed really loudly!

  • five stars! lol im due so soon and that looked intense. how did the stadol make you feel?

  • Haha, I'd want this doctor! He seems very relaxed and calming. Gorgeous birth! Thanks for sharing!

  • Good Video .......

  • Thanks for sharing!!

  • Womens bodies are designed for childbirth. There is nothing to fear.

  • funny when the woman doctor said sorry

  • these were some very laid back doctors lol

  • wonderfull the first one that actuallly showed the placenta being delivered !!!!

    congrats

  • looked like he ALMOST dropped the baby

  • You had, from the sounds of it, an amazing doctor or midwife or whatever he was. No rushing to do anything fast, he waited for the cord to stop pulsing before cutting, he was supportive, he didn't do an unnecessary episiotomy, etc. Sounds like a great doctor. How lucky!

  • "Zoey, do you wanna cut the cord?"

    "No!" she says.

    Haha, that was great.

Beautiful birth. Seemed painful for the most part, but you were strong and it was great.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks for share it!

    you are very brave, mom

and your little baby is beautiful

  • BEAUTIFUL ! CONGRADULATIONS !

  • whats the stuff on her?

  • iodine or betadine just like they would use to prep someone for surgery

  • just beauterful !

  • is sew-ing a must ?

    And cutting the virgina ?

    looks terrible to me .

Overall , Birthing was Fantastic .

  • The episiotomy (the cutting) can be necessary if the vaginal opening is not wide enough (even when fully dilated) for the mother to deliver the baby. It's easier to perform a small cut than to sew up jagged, unwanted tears. The stitches usually dissolve a few days later, that I know of. (I've never had a kid, I've researched this stuff, though.)

  • does it hurt to cut it?

  • aww, the little brother was soo adorable, this makes me feel a little at easy about going natural with no meds when it is time for me to deliver in about 2 1/2 months

  • Wow...i like that. That was a very smooth delivery. Congratulations. It's a beautiful baby.

  • I love it how like they're all laughing. wonderful

  • very beautiful!!! congratulations!!

  • the whole comedy thing was just like when my mom had me...dad and the other guys in thew family were not only crackin jokes but were eatin french fries too

  • that was wonderful thanks for sharing your painful but beautiful exprience. my friend she is having her baby in two weeks she was so scared but by watching this video she knows more about natural birth and how incredible is to have your baby in your arms after so much pain! thank you.

  • this was wonderful! did you film your other births?

  • No. None of my other births were filmed. This was to be my last baby and I didn't know my husband had filmed until after I had delivered. I'm very glad he did though!

  • OH! he almost dropped her! The cord would have served as a bungey! Jk ^^
