  • I know a lot of shooting ranges exist (legal or not) for I am a resident of Colorado, but if you were anywhere near Fort Carson, there are shooting rangers on the base there, It sounds a lot louder than anything I could think of but someone popping of rounds in the rocky could make an echo depending on caliber I suppose.

  • yes,we hear the exact thing in costa rica between 12 and 1 am....they blamed the artifitial fireworks of the end of the party of "Zapote"(a district of the capital of costa rica) but the thing is that day first hour in the morning a chain of little earthquakes was sense around the irazu volcano!
