this isnt a glitch..its a very smart tank..if it was upside down it wouldnt respawn either..if you wait long enough itll dissapear but when its upside down itll sink into the ground a little and lock in place..sothe infected team could rape you in the elevator

ive heard its still possible to do this. clawing it and moving it is patched though. and i had a better spot to push that box, my spot would let the infected do way more damage to the survivors.

You can still do the glitch (I think) on 360 but it was patched on PC

Basically it involves using your melee (as any SI) to move one of the objects in front of the door

theres a tactic where on the infected team to push this box infront of the elevator have a smoker go on top of the elevator and keep snaging them and have 2 hunters outside as well as a boomer when the survivors move the box the boomer pukes on the survivors huters pounce and the horde will come

This glitch used to be on the PC version too. It is caused when one or two hunters scratch the object, like such, pushing it towards the elevator entry. This glitch has already been patched by Valve, special infected no longer have the powers to move objects around.

Itsa patched glitch its when a special infected melees that generator to move it use a pipe bomb but its patched now no more worrying rather use a bommer to explode on it then hunter melee but its pacthed unless you have a xbox like mine.

It's not a glitch and you can't get out. The infected hunters can move that object by hitting it in the direction of the door but it takes time. You can't move it because you are a human and they are weak and pathetic in L4D Also a pipe bomb will not work i have tried it before. How this helps out in some way.

really the worst place to put it, since the survivors could easily defend the elevator with little problem. it's easier if further up ahead you use the forklift to block off a narrow part of the path, then they can't get by and it's a lot harder to defend that part while dealing with the problem.

If you suspect the opposing teammay try this, one solution is to bring an oxygen tank or pipebomb with you onto the elevator. if placed right at the base of the object, tthe explosion will push it away

my brothers used to do this to people. they would be a hunter or smoker, run ahead in the level before the survivors get to the elevator and spend about 3 minutes pushing the crate to the doors. They did the same with a piano and a safe room.
