Anaphalactic shock is extremely scary and life threatning and having gone through it several imes in the last year i find this video highly offensive.
Hi . i understand this was to accompany a talk . I think you should say that in the title . I have anaphylaxis and feel concerned someone could watch this and not see the seriousness of their or a family members condition i think you you are going to post a video on this subject you should add that you should call 911 immediately and use an epi pen if you have one . it may scare some into not seeking medical advice with near misses as they think they are dying

I have heard patients with ME describe this--most often because a neighbor was using pesticide liberally and without warning his neighbors. A friend had trouble breathing after Katrina and was sent home with Advair. She was unable to breathe
and scarcely able to speak. She called a retired doctor who she had worked for and he called the ambulance. SHe died a few days later.
i suffer from anaphylactic shock, and i would like to warn the world that i had almost died at least 3 times and its really scary to see ur life flash before u and most allergies can also be caused by insects like me ants and bees and it sucks to live wit it
That is excellent. Well done you, and as someone else said i hope you got top marks. I have anaphylaxis, and know first hand what it is like. Very scarey, and for those who witness it. However, until you've actually seen one, it's hard to comprehend. The symptoms are like an avanlanche, and you just don't know where the snow is going to stop?
wth! Umm..I agree about the previous comments, on giving tips to those who have this type of allergies. But I must admit, I found the ending funny...I don't know if that was your intent...
I just updated the description explaining the purpose of this video. I didn't really intend to make it seem funny, but it was not my complete intention to make this video VERY serious either. It was just a quick video to entertain my classmates, after they sat through a 25 minute presentation that they had no choice but to pay attention to.
You had a very good idea as to what happens when your body goes in to Anaphylactic shock, however you did leave out how you start to vomit and become swollen with fluids but all in all, it was a very good representation, I know because I have suffered from Anaphylactic shock before. I must say good video as far as description also!
It's a nice project but it kind of seems more like a parody than a serious presentation. No offense, but like pantsman6001 said, putting the peanutman and the FF music seems like a joke.
As I said in my previous reply, this video was not meant to be taken seriously, but was just a video that was made to complement our 25 minute oral presentation, which was very serious, and did not hold anaphylactic shock in any regard where it could be taken as a joke.
Keep in mind that this video was made for students in high school, and not for a group consisting of parents with children that suffered from allergies, or anything of the sort.
I have had to go through anaphylactic shock several times in my life, nearly died each time and to that end I don't like the degree of stylization present in this.
Really, putting Final Fantasy and Mr. Krabs in this makes the whole thing seem like a joke.
nice video, unfortunately in my country, Malta the auto injector pen is rarely used. In first aid sometimes we assume that people always carry them but the reality is no
Anaphylaxis is a very serious reaction. I had Anaphylaxis reactions to Latex- I did not understand how serious Latex allergy is. I could have died. I wrote a book-Latex is not my Friend- You Tube. This book can help people understand Latex Allergy - Struggle everyday people dealing with Latex allergy. Anaphylaxis is dangerous coome on in minutes to hours -Peanuts-food-=latex is connected to some foods that can cause some of the same reactions could be fatal. .
You know what would be good at the end of this? Some directions about calling 911, using an epi-pen, or something like that. Maybe a note to always read the food ingredient labels. GOOD WORK here.
well, this was just a short video at the end of my Final Project's presentation. We talked about using an epi-pen and what to do in case of emergency during our presentation =P

The video itself was not meant to be a video that was to be taken seriously... The 20 minute presentation that my partner and I made was, however.
I'm sorry that you didn't like how we created it, but to each his own I guess
