I've never used Boson, but from looking through their feature list at boson.com,
Layer 3 Switches are only available in the CCNP simulator. VLANS, VTP, Trunking are on the CCNA version.. It also says that STP is on the CCNA version, but they list STP configuration as a separate feature and is only on the CCNP version.
You also have the option of using GNS3, Packet Tracer, or real gear.
@brw0515 ok bt im nt able to download packet tracer
i searched on google it redirected to cisco.com it requires authentication
can u tell me how can i download packet tracer securly.........
pls im very confused i talked to my teacher n he said that i can use netsim also bt it has the same problem it cannot configure every thing.............
This was a good video. It was definately very accurate considering he used packet tracer to actually demonstrate the usuage of inter-vlan routing. He also explained everything in depth. In the future I would tab out all of the commands. It helps if you aren't familiar with the command to know what it stands for.
Absolutely fantastic video. Accurate, good length, excellent presentation. I'm psyched that you actually used Packet Tracer, instead of just showing a PowerPoint. Also, you did a great job explaining what you were doing.
Awesome video, great job! Keep this up and you'll be CCNA for sure.
