God is a deity in theist and deist religions and other belief systems, representing either the sole deity in monotheism, or a principal deity in polytheism.
A deity is a postulated preternatural or supernatural being, who is not ALWAYS of significant power (as the greek god weren't all that powerfull),they were also worshipped, thought holy, divine, or sacred, held in high regard, and respected by human beings.
This is where we come across a stumbling block. A supernatural being is a being that is beyond nature, or simply NOT nature, thereby making this primary attribute a negative attribute that tells us what it is not, but fails to tell us what it is.
Before an intelligible discourse can be achieved, according to the laws of logic, the law of identity or what this thing is must be met prior to determining if it exists.
For thousands of years, this debate has drudged on without getting anywhere.
The primary attribute has been ignored by both parties of the discourse, because it is assumed that both are speaking about the same thing, whereas the subject matter is blurred.
Given the importance of this subject, it should be held to the same criteria as everything else for logical determination, maybe moreso.
saying that a god's primary attribute is an emotion used as an abstraction, and thus holds only as a secondary attribute, thereby not telling me what it is.
god licked my ass yesterday!

God is Love. If you have Love, then God lives in you and you will discover Him.
