I think it would have been 100 times more frightening if they just did tours in the dark, at night etc, let the quiet get to you, little natural noises etc. It would have been actually frightening and unsettling rather then stuff jumping out at you like a long ghost train

you are going to LOVE IT! i went yesterday and i seriously had the best time ever! the best haunted house ive ever been in. if you are in the middle though, they will scare you alot. i was in the middle & they kept scaring me so i moved to the front. I absolutly loved it though. they are DEFFFF going to scare you. they even scare you outside of the prison. you will enjoy it!

I'm an architectural student and former resident of Philadelphia and I think its a crime what they do to this building for the sake of a dollar. I also lived in Fairmount (the neighborhood where the prison is) and during october its like an army invades the neighborhood. You cant even use Fairmount ave between 20 and 21st st. I'd recommend visiting the prison during the spring or summer for a historical tour; much better and fascinating experience! Bring in the doe. keep fixing the structure!

i went to terror behind the walls and was so disapointed, the scare level was just not there for me, and im a chicken shit, i dont know if i wasnt as scared because i have been to a few haunted attractions and i kinda know what to expect? but i must say for one attraction it was way to pricey for me, lets not add the fact that i did travel 3 hours to get there, it wasnt worth it in my opinion.

They mention the dust many times from this 200 year old building. Mercury, arsenic, lead in the paint, asbestos in the walls for sure. I'd like to visit the place during the day. It's creepy enough. But not during October with everybody kicking all that poison shit around.
