Its so stupid, the poke walker that is, i have 475 watts with 25000 steps (not legit steps i cheated) and all 475 i only got 1exlamtions and well once got two exclamations. WTF they need to make it like 5% in getting these pikachus! >.<

if u have 8,000 steps u will get the chance to caoture a surfing pikachu when u have 10,000 steps ull get a chance to capture a flying pikachu..

@sgtGarand I read your description, and it doesn't neccessarily need to be a !!!(group A) pokemon to be either flying/surfing pikachu, that's basically a guarantee it either a flying or surfing pikachu, but I caught both flying/sufing pikachu in a group B(!!) category

If you transfer a pikachu from your ds to your pokewalker, your step count will reduce by 25%. Making the chances of a flying or surfing pikachu appear atleast 1 daily(not all the time though). Atleast for me I walked atleast 14,000 steps with a pikachu and caught 2 surfing pikachus and 1 flying pikachu and various volt tackle pikachus.

Ladies and gentlemen I already caught 2 surfing pikachus and 1 flying pikachu(which the flying pikachu was an ass to catch), anyways transfer a pikachu to your pokewalker and it brings down the step count of encountering a surfing or flying pikachu by 25% if im right. Also, I only walked about 14,000 steps and encountered atleast 1 group A pikachu using a pikachu in my pokewalker. Hope you guys understood me, good luck

@goldensword107 No, it won't matter. But, if you wait too long it will go away and you will have wasted the 10 watts. The only thing that matters is how many steps are taken(you need 10,000) and how many exclamation marks there are. If you look in the description I explain that the fly/surfing pikachus are in group A. And when a group A pokemon appears, it will have 3 exclamation marks (!!!)

Help me! :( I've walked nearly all day, I have 16039 steps on my pokewalker and I still can't get passed group c lol! I got to b with my mightyena on 2000 steps but havent got passed c with my jolteon & ampharos am i doing something wrong? Could some give me some tips please lol? @gibbo8970 Unfortunately it's all random. Only 2% chance for a flying, and 3% chance it's a surfing.

I had about 16,000 steps yesterday and couldn't even get a group b to show.

@VedwardV hmm, that seems to be the theory anyway. As long as the type you put in is one of the types for the Yellow Forest route. Which I posted in the description. I still made sure to get around 10,000 to play it safe before I wasted my time trying to find one

i caught nothing but normal pikachus so far. so its better to not have a pokemon in the walker when you walk and then aftre 10,000 steps put a pokemon in the walker? i waled t10,000 steps with a chansey trying to make it freindy while hoping to catch a surfing pikachu. but never found one.

Each time you put a pokemon into the walker. It will choose 1 pokemon out of each group(A, B, and C). The flying and surfing pikachu is in group A. And you need 10,000+ steps before it will appear.

I really don't know for sure if you have to transfer yours out and in again after the 10,000 steps is achieved. But, that is what I did just to be on the safe side. I'll try to get another and this time i won't transfer it out. I'll post what I find

@SgtGarand i tried the method wothout pokemon in the wlaker but th esteps and watts go away when you put the pokemon in the walker or take out of walker.

@deathjoker666 No, only the watts would go away, which I mentioned in the description. The steps won't reset until it begins a new day.

I get the feeling now that it may not be necessary to to send out the pokemon, then send it back again just because you reached the 10,000 steps. If it's suppose to select one from each group(A,B,C) each time you put one in there, then you should still be able to skip that step. It's just that you won't see a flying/surfing pikachu until 10,000+ steps

@deathjoker666 Ive only caught the one surfing pikachu(which I trained to level 41 now) and one that knows volt tackle. The rest had normal move sets. I am using the normal ones to trade with my Diamond version so I can get my well trained and rare/legendary pokemon transferred over
