Hey i was wondering how much louder these are than stock/do they set off car alarms, also wondering if u can take off the muffler end cap and if it will give it more power?
Not being a smartass, and I could be wrong anyway...but I just mounted a DRC edge tail light on my DRZ, and it looks like yours hangs a lot lower. Mine is an 09 maybe thats the difference? Did you mount it above or below the subframe? i mounted mine above using the spacers provided. Heck maybe its a different brand?

aha. Reading these comments tells me you drive it like I do :P I put a 440 bore kit and high compression piston in mine. Along with cams and exhaust mods. I'd recommend you get the hot cams. It really wakes the bike up.
@BugattiJoe THANKS mon, it handles itself preety good i think with two people.. its not sluggish by any means ...a little slower acceleration but overall preety much the same
This will definately be my next bike!!! One more question though, how is the fuel consumption. How many liters does it take on 100 kilometers? That would be one more important thing for me to know appart from the passenger thing :P
I was looking at the bmw g650 xchallenge as well but it doesnt allow for a passenger to ride with you and that was one of the main reasons i didn buy that bike cuz i wanna take my girlfriend or a friend from time to time.
@BugattiJoe hey no worries i know what its like asking questions on u tube and ppl dont reply for months. as far as fuel per 100km i would say 7 or 8 liters the tank holds 10L and i can hit 150-160 km without hittin the reserve on....yea ive taken my gf on the back and the bike is fine not quite as nimble and peppy but not bad at all.
@theginokid Damn but 7 to 8 liters is pretty much. If you compare it with a streetbike like the kawasaki er6n for example 600 cc and only takes about 5 liters.....
My motorbike is supposed to take 3-4 liters and i find it always takes 5-6 liters but thats probably cuz i always drive it like i stole it :D haha

@BugattiJoe ohh for sure i find it very hard to ride this thing slow and granny shift so that prob why lol....like i have more aggresive tires on it and i take it to trails and your hard on the brakes and then givin er full throttle out of turns too so that prob why i dont get very good mileage....its not tooo bad like i at least put 91octane sometimes 94 and i only ever spend max 10 bucks with the reserve partially used.
Heyy awesome bike man! I am trying to get a 2009 400SM right now and also plan on the same exact pipe and seat. One question tho, I am 6'1 as well and I cant quite flat foot it like i would like to, does the gel seat that Suzuki makes (the 1" less gel seat) help with that? Thanks!
@88MUSTANGGT88 thanks man appreciate it, the gel seat is a bit lower than the stock one and i dont seem to have a problem touching the ground u should be fine and i highly recommend the two bros pipe its night and day difference over stock well worth the money u will be very happy with it and THE BIKE its really awsome good luck with getting it
@theginokid hey jus picked up my DRZ400SM! these things are soo much fun! Its only got 1000 miles onI work at the motorcycel shop who sold it to the original owner so its perfect! not going with the gel seat for now but I did have the TWO BROTHERS Exhaust put on along with having it regetted! These are so much fun and so is drifting;)

@kopaszQ you do get much better throttle responce i noticed and u get 1 or 2 hp increase because it is less restrictive than the stock muffler but mostly its just way louder and it sounds nice i just have the slip on but if u get a full exhaust with the down pipe i think u can get around 5hp gain.

@bom3rboy1 the video really doesnt do it justice the pipe sounds amazing on the bike it is quite loud and has a nice low end growl to it just driving through towns makes everyone stare or look cause it is really frekin loud
@suzuki24man thanks dude it was about 200 bucks from the dealer it is a great improvement on the stock but its not by any means super comfy like after about 3 hrs of riding it will start to hurt but that said the stock seat is even worse so i do recomend upgrading the seat i hear there are alot of aftermarket ones that are supposidly better but i dont know for sure...hope this helps? do u have a drz?
I don't right now, i cant find any for sale around the des moines area since people don't even bother listing there bikes when there's snow on the ground, but i'm buying one for sure i already have the cash ready to go, just cant find any yet,

How is it with two people. If you take someone with you on that bike does it still ride as good or is the power not enough for that?

@kopaszQ you do get much better throttle responce i noticed and u get 1 or 2 hp increase because it is less restrictive than the stock muffler but mostly its just way louder and it sounds nice i just have the slip on but if u get a full exhaust with the down pipe i think u can get around 5hp gain.

how would you rate the loudness of the pipe is it real loud or does it just have a nice tone to it?? i want to get a two brothers exhaust but all i can find for the sm is a slip on?
