@silntinsnty Dude..the BOV for the MR2 is awesome! Lol But if you owned a DSM you'd appreciate any sound from a BOV since the DSM's can't vent to atmosphere and still run right. I love any vented to atmosphere BOV because I had an insane 554 wHP 95 Eagle Talon TSI w/ 6 Bolt Swap and I had no sound from my BOV. Sucked..so I appreciate the sound! To each their own I suppose lol.
yeah the driver of the sti doesnt help, ive seen stock sti's do 12's all day and end up at around 110mph. not saying the sti is faster, but just that with a better person, wouldve been a race.
13.0 with 305rwhp that sucks wether you dont have that much power or you cant drive, cause with that much power you should be in the low 12s. My friend with 302rwhp ran a 12.2 in his mr2 a while back.
mine 305.10 whp dynoed and i thought i was going to get beat by a ferrari f40 in first gear, but than to 400meter..is like side by side and than the f40 fly out.....
If you have a good condition mr2 with at least the same HP as your rival STi, the mr2 will be superior in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. (however, driver will be the biggest difference)
@firesk8ter1 it doesn't take much, usually I see MR2's able to take on cars with even 100 more HP than them. Plus, Subbies have very very short gears. So for drag racing like this? Yeah, maybe you might want that HP closer to what they come with stock, but if you are on the street such as freeway, you need not worry. Almost anything will smoke them on the freeway because of their short gears. They are really meant for rally and not this kind of stuff.

My mr2 is running 320 whp @ 15 lbs. I could walk a stock STI in my turbo miata... it was running 230 whp @ 12 lbs.

Well.... this car weights only 2680pds... so as long as your weight is down and hp up... you can smoke almost anything!
