  • i couldnt sleep tonight

  • At least they have treatments, that is the bright side :\

  • You gotta real feel for people who suffer from this disease. It's heartbreaking. I hope a cure or at least a very good treatment is found for them.

  • Eww?

  • uhm... :D why the fuck am i watching this :D

  • How did i get here from videos of adorable sugar gliders

  • @EvaD274 You're deep down in the youtubes, mate.

  • I tried all creams from doctor, even worse, because the cream will make the dead skin accumulate eve more and cause more itchiness and pain. I only can use non-oil cream now.

  • Im so sorry for you may you guys have a good life pain free and happy ..

  • Simple correction, harlequin ichthyosis is not a form of icthyosis vulgaris. Vulgaris means common in Latin, icthyosis vulgaris is common icthuyosis. Harlequin ichthyosis is much more rare and devastating a disease with only a handful of patients around the globe.

  • Very informative and well done!! Congrats!

  • very informative

  • good job

  • I have severe atopic dermatitis. I'm allergic to everything. The weather changes bother me. I have scars and am in pain all the time. I'm always ashamed of how I look and that I am always itching and what not. I can't even imagine what people with this disease have to go through.

  • how horrible it is to watch this.. still thanks for uploading this! with all the idiots posting alien child videos of poor kids who suffer from this.. all those idiots should be ashamed! what is happening to the world today...

there seems to be a huge lack of education.. you are doing your part to educate some fools.. i hope it reaches them

  • green tea lol looks like weed tea

  • dry soap shower into the cold. not good

  • Good report. Very interesting. God bless you.

  • I have this! Its bad but i got used to it

  • I have Icthyosis but i got it from my mom and my dad didn't have it. So its very mild. It is all over my body, but it doesn't effect much :P

  • To inherit Harlequin's Icthyosis, both parents have to carry the gene.

  • Ok so I was born with Ichthyosis, but its not as bad as these kids... :( I have the bad head dryness. Also in areas like my arm pits and groin. But i do not wanna know what these kids go thro, Im always in pain and its only it those areas, I wonder what it would feel like to have a full body one! I feel bad for them, cause I too also know how it feels!

  • @TheOGCommentator oh, I'm so sorry. I hope they find a treatment for you to live pain free!

  • Wrong. Both parents need to have the gene, parents Aa = baby aa.

  • @JoeZlotek No... cause i have it and my dad doesn't my mom does though

  • It looks like a toned down version of Harlequin's disease... Are they in anyway related?

  • @Myawakenings it is harlequin's disease, they just aged.

  • @TheCrystalEdits I thought that most only lived 48 hours.. oh well, thanks =)

  • no babe should ever have to suffer such pain first thing out of their comforting womb...a terrible terrible shame-

    God bless them all.

  • thanks for sharing your research ...most informative

    respect

  • I almost cryed by seeing all those pics ! :'(

  • This was well done and informative. I was just wondering, and I don't know if you researched it or not while doing your project, but I was just curious as to whether you looked into if maybe adding these teas to the bath or even (if they could afford it) bathing ENTIRELY in the teas, would have a beneficial effect. The afflicted person would still be getting the benefit of soaking up moisture, while at the same time being surrounded by other healthy and very beneficial properties.

  • Sir can you provide us the details of Dermatologist

  • I suffered all my life until a dermatologist told me an easy treatement. You must apply daily a body cream sold over the counter under the name LacHydrin. It is essentially 12% ammonium lactate and will cause your skin to fall off naturally instead of accumulating, drying and cracking. I promise it work and you will find your baby soft skin underneath. Apply it after your shower. It will burn at first as the acids enter your lesions but it will pass as your skin heals. Enjoy...my life changed!

  • @cactusfiend12 I too have a form of Icthyosis called Lameller. Im going to try this. Thanks for the info.
