My 2 year old son Sean died in a truck/ train collision in 1989. It's been over 20 years, and I still miss and think of him daily. This song says it all. I didn't realize I would only have only have 2 short years with him.... I send this song out to my precious baby boy who would be a grown man now. Mommy has NEVER forgotten you...
I lost my mom two years ago, although it seems like yesterday. She was my best friend. And this song makes me miss her so much, and regret not seeing her the day she died. It was sudden. She was at home. Her doctor said she was doing well. She asked me to visit, but I was "too busy" with work. I just wish I could go back to that day. If I had only known, I would have been by her side and never let her go. I love you, Mom.
such a touching song, it brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. I'm the aunt to 2 terminally ill children, and I treasure each day that I have with them, because I never know when "it'll be the last time we walk in the rain".

Reba did a fantastic job writing this song. She originally wrote it i memory of her band and crew that she lost in a plane accident. I didn't live in OK when this happened but I do not. I live in Oklahoma City actually and I can tell you that the Memorial is a fantastic tribute to these people and it truly takes your breath away. This was an amazing song to honor them as well as Garth's song he wrote for it..The Change
The day that Bombing happend in OKC i was about 6 going on 7...and my father was a Police Officer...we lived only about 10 Blocks from the Building...and when thos Bombs went off it felt like an EarthQuake....Oh god it was so bad they called my father to Duty that night to help clean out all the Debree..and help carry Bodies...out. It Hurt my father in so many ways he Cryed....and I dedicate this song to him. God Bless Reba and all those who lost someone in the Bombing. Im sorry for ur Loss.
@wabamlol No it hasn't I read a story in "Chicken Soup for the Women's Soul" by the young woman who wrote the lyrics... She wrote it in tribute to her Great Aunt who was there at a trying time in her life..
