Allora Carsiotto dovrebbe assaggiare la pasta Italiana (in tutte le sue migliaia di varianti) e quella robaccia cinese scotta ed insipida e poi stilare un giudizio.....!!!!!
Pasta was created in China, not with wheat I believe, but pasta non-the less. Italians make pasta out of corn-flour too, that doesnt make it less "pasta". Pasta, is the noodle, cooking method and way of consumption, not so much the ingredient. Italian food isnt much like chinese food, but its very similar to its major influence, Mexican cuisine. Most cuisines are influenced in one way or another, but Pasta is def chinese.
@FromAMadWorld Pasta was invented in China. Mexicans cultivated tomatoes and also had sauces for their foods. Even polenta is Mexican. At least in the way its eaten now-adays. The romans had "polenta" but it wasnt made of corn. Mexicans have been eating something called "Atolli", a corn gruel or mush for centuries. After the Spanish Barbarians exported the stolen foods from Mexico to the rest of the world, Polenta was eaten in Italy.
@carsiotto Spaghetti were invented in China, I read that they didn't have wheat, which is a basic ingredient in Italian pasta (like Etruscan and Romans). I think the chinese cuisine today is very different from italian, for what I know. ;) Of course, we can agree that Italian cuisine has been really influenced from a lot of different cultures (French, Spanish, Arabic), not only for cuisine.
